| It's tough this year. We have 3 teenagers and a 10 year old. Can't get away with coloring books (i still buy them though lol) They just don't undestand that 1 thing is $100. All my 10 year old wants is video games at 30-50 dollars a piece it's tough. I'm going to the game store and getting some used games for less than half the price. My older son, 19, wants stuff for his car and my 17yr old daughter wants what else clothes it's my 14yr old daughter who wants EVERYTHING I told them we could go as high as $300 each if that means 1 thing then it's 1 thing. I got them like gift cards for starbucks and subway things like that. They pay for their own gas and the 2 big ones have jobs so they are very responsible not spoiled. My husband and myself usually get something practical for eachother but I told them not to get me anything I have what I want. Some years we do a secret santa between just us 6 on top of what they get from "santa". That's fun and they don't have to get for everyone. It's nice to see what clever item they come up with. We could never give them today what we gave them when they were small. Prices are out of control You can't even get a simple game, they are so expensive. COCO PEBBLES TRIXIE |

| Just hearing about a couple of your little ones makes me remember when mine were little and they were soooo excited about Christmas and Santa. Now they are older ( 20 , 13 ,11 ) so while Christmas is still my/our favorite time of the year...I miss them being so in awe and bright eyed and waiting to hear Santa on the rooftop .... You guys with little ones are sooo lucky, that makes Christmas even more exciting To bad dh wont let me adopt another one ...( yet)
