It's a camera trick actually. Does your camera allow you to change settings? If so, you'll need a tripod, long shutter speed (this one was 30 seconds) and a VERY small aperture (this was f/22). I also used a low ISO (100) so I didn't overexpose. The trick is the aperture. Keep the opening really small and you'll get starbursts every time! Hope that helps.

Wheeee!!! Thanks!!! I can hardly wait to play with my camera!!! Thanks for the tip. I will definitely post a picture when we are finished. I haven't had time to do touch ups to the tree. Maybe tomorrow.

Which program do y'all use to resize your pictures? I can't believe mine isn't on my computer anymore and I can't remember the name of it..

I use PSP 9 (paint shop pro 9).

This is our tree this year. Usually I do red garland, ribbon down the sides, and an angel on top (which I still may put on top). When I woke up yesterday a.m., the kids had already decorated it before I had put the garland on. I like it though. To me, it is prettier in person. Real simple, kids tree. I usually have color lights, but this year I bought twinkle white lights.

I use Paint. I think almost every computer has basic Paint.

2006 After Christmas sale at Target, there's a 6.5 the one w/ the magnolias, the other 2 is a topiary set for outdoors, last year they were to each side of my front door, but because the heat and florida sun I did not want to leave them out this year.Now, there is one at Costco,6.5 ft, 78.99 much better quality and already lighted, I'm just waiting to go get it.

Loved looking threw all the pages seeing all your beautiful trees.
They are all so different and yet still so pretty.

I went hum-bug this year and bought a 32" tree already decorated and
lit. I just plugged it in. Wallah Christmas
Since I"m not cooking this year I decided not to put up the 7ft one.
It's so much work since all my decorations are stored down the street
in another bldg. I feel sad now looking at all your big trees.
Bud don't seem to mind tho. Since my daughter is cooking for the family
this year I decided not to knock myself out. The house looks pretty
though. I love snowmen and they are all over.

Kyle, for that price and free shipping you can't go wrong, if you really want it don't wait for the after christmas sale, they may not have it in stock then, I say go for it, but order 2!
