| I may be weird or whatever, but this is what I think about christmas... Christmas is a religious holiday and I don't think there should be anything christmasy until december. I think putting things out (in stores and wherever) earlier makes people forget the true meaning of christmas. Christmas has been very commercialized and now it's not about the belief, but about buying gifts and having trees and lights... I dunno... just my way of thinking....

| I would put up my tree now if I wouldn't get made fun of! LOL I LOVE putting up christmas decorations and making my house all festive for Christmas. I have no other real holiday decorations, just christmas. They are sooo fun and colorful!

Senior Yorkie Talker | I actually put up one of our smaller Christmas trees in our den yesterday. I am going to wait a couple of weeks before I put up our big tree. I love Christmas and I like getting a head start. Plus, we have a new house this year so I am very excited to be decorating!!

| I think it's so cool that many of you start decorating around this time! I was feeling alone with that, haha! My mom even mentioned to me, hmmm -- I thought "we" always do that right after Thanksgiving... and I kind of went "no, *you* always decorate after Thanksgiving, :-p". AshleyV - I can respect your opinion, but I don't think of just the commercialized aspect of Christmas. I just love changing my home with the seasons and I do get excited about it. At our house we remember and value the real reason for the Holidays, but I don't see why I shouldn't have a little excitement in making my home feel warm and cozy . BetteAnne, I think that is so cute LOL! I can see myself doing something like that too . There are some people in my town that have the huge set ups for Christmas starting outside their home now. I personally would wait a little bit for that, but I can understand why they are starting. They have SO much to put up and who knows how long it will be decent weather.
