I think it's so cool that many of you start decorating around this time! I was feeling alone with that, haha! My mom even mentioned to me, hmmm -- I thought "we" always do that right after Thanksgiving... and I kind of went "no, *you* always decorate after Thanksgiving, :-p".
AshleyV - I can respect your opinion, but I don't think of just the commercialized aspect of Christmas. I just love changing my home with the seasons and I do get excited about it. At our house we remember and value the real reason for the Holidays, but I don't see why I shouldn't have a little excitement in making my home feel warm and cozy

There are some people in my town that have the huge set ups for Christmas starting outside their home now. I personally would wait a little bit for that, but I can understand why they are starting. They have SO much to put up and who knows how long it will be decent weather.
