| I'm so mad at McDonald's. Never again. So, I've been pretty health conscous lately, and I was going to the gym earlier. I decided I was a little too hungry to excercise, so we pulled through mc donald's. I ordered a snack wrap, the most cheap alternative to their greasy mess of a menu. Anyway, when we got to the first window, I asked if they knews the calorie content of the snack wraps, and she told me no, but they have a chart at the next window that they can refer me to. I said okay, paid, and went to the next window to get the food. Again, I asked, what's the calorie content of the snack wraps, the girl looks at me like i'm a moron, and goes, "I wouldn't know that off hand, no." and slams the widnow in my face. I've never seen anything so stupid in my life, I don't know if complaining about the stupidity and laziness of the employees will even make a difference, but I'm mad, and really wish there was something I could do about it...

| I guess most people who go to Mcdonald's aren't concerned about a healthy meal and/or calories.

| Call the "Comments" number. It will definitely make a difference. I believe that logged complaints compile for Quarterly and Yearly reviews with chain resturaunts. Here's a link to their nutrition info: McDonald's USA - McDonald's Nutrition Facts

| I willing to bet the people staffing McDonald's make minimum wage....unless you actually spoke to a manager, I doubt anybody there really CARES what the calorie count was of that snack wrap

| I've never in my life ask anyone, anywhere how many calories are in something. I eat anything I want, but in moderation. I love the soft swirl dipped in chocolate at McDonalds.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I worked at Mc D's when I was in college over 10 yrs ago...eek. Even then, they did have nutritional guides....I believe you can also get that information online too. With that being said, I just wanted to comment it is not nice to make comments about other peoples weight. I have some family members with weight problems, and I myself need to lose weight. Often people have medical conditions that prevent them from losing weight and/or exercising. Overweight people are very discriminated against in today's society. If given a choice, very few would CHOOSE to be fat. The hard reality is that it is just so much easier to pile the weight on than to take it back off. My husband and I both would be the first to admit that the convenience of fast food paired with long hours at work is what got us overweight to begin with. |

| I look on calorie king online, it's got all the calories, fat grams, etc on there for all the fast food restaurants, and a lot of restaurants like applebees, etc And I also agree on the weight thing. I have a son that is big and a daughter that is big, and it is very hard for some people to lose weight, myself included. I never say anything about anyones weight whether too thin or too big, as no one is perfect And, also, you can count calories and not just be on weight watchers..I'm not on weight watchers, but, I try and count calories Last edited by phfgkl; 10-29-2008 at 02:33 PM. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Just a thought about drive thru lanes and how they are meant to move cars/customers through as quickly/conveniently as possible.....if an employee has to look up calorie content of items for very many customers, that line is going to move very slowly. LOL....I would be the irritated customer waiting behind you Did they not have the chart at the next window as the other employee said? She could have offered to find out for you, that would have been nice, but I wouldn't let the fact that she didn't know nor offer to find out, upset me so much. Save the anger for bigger things in life

Just this weekend I went off on his brother and told him that I got the best lookin brother, and the better man, chubby or not. I made some other choice comments too. Husband was mortified, but I told him it had been brewing FOR YEARS. | |

| Mcdonalds should have a hand out with calorie counts on it. They are constantly trying to push the message that they are "making healthy changes" at Mcdonalds in their commercials. The reason people are rude is because no one ever follows through and complains. I would call and tell the Manager. If nothing else, you will feel better, and maybe the next person will get the info when they ask. If no one complains, nothing will change. Hope the rest of your day went better!
