Just took a 36 hr road trip to Myrtle Beach(spent 1 hr in MB) and back and the lowest down there was $1.79. Sam's club would be cheaper. It was below $2.00 most of the way back until PA. It's $2.17 here on the NY border. Go about 3 miles north into NY and it's almost 50 cents higher:confused:. |

Unforunately though, I think that our gas prices will go up some during inaugeration week since I live so close to DC... not because of politics, but because of the money hungry gas shop owning people that want to make money off of the 4 million people expected to attend. I don't care as long as they go back down!!! |

last night at the 'Race Trac' it was $1.69. I was like, "holy cowwww! 1.69?? not like bad holy cow, but good holy cow!!' My very first remembered fill up was at $1.06 or something in like 1994... |

Holy cow...I filled up today for $25 and I was about as close to empty as you can get. Gas was 1.76/gal. :D |
I'll be filling up tomorrow so I'm hoping to see prices at or below $2. Wishful thinking....:rolleyes: |
ours was at 1.52 as of a couple days ago not sure what it is now but it keeps going down and it can keep doing that too:D |

It is 1.88 a gallon here for regular. Thankfully it has dropped in the past month. It was up to 3.00 per gallon last month for regular. Sorry its so high in Alaska. |
My second "real job" was at a local gas station where I could work on my hot rod at night. It was standard fare to keep a ladder handy and a pair of binoculars on the desk so we could see when the station down the street changed their price. I didn't even have to call the owner...if the price down the street went down so did ours. Out comes the ladder and the HUGE plastic numbers. It was not unusual to change the price several times a day. This was during the late seventies and the price was almost $1 per gallon. I was pullin down a cool 3 bucks an hour. |
