Thanks for the update! Seems like the memo finally reached our gas stations, WE'RE UNDER $3 A GALLON NOW!!!!! Don't remember the exact amount but I do know that I filled up my tank (which was close to almost empty) for less that $30!!!! That made me super happy!!!

That's what's strange. We DO! We even have our own refineries. There's just no reason for us to lag so far behind the rest of the country.

the ethanol blend is the cheapest $1.81-$1.84 around here right now.

The price of gas has nothing to do with the election. It has to do with the economy and demand. Demand is down.

Someone might of already posted this ....I did not read all the post in this thread. About 6 weeks ago Charlotte, NC was completely out of gas and if you could find it was $4.30ish per gallon. Everyone was in a complete panic....including me!! I felt so helpless! Some people were waiting in line for over 24 hours in hopes of getting gas. After days of having to stay home....I was finally able to find & get gas...it was over $100 to fill my car up. These prices went on for several weeks. Between my DH and I ....our gas bill for that month was $500 higher than normal. As of yesterday gas was down to $1.79!!!!!(this was in South Carolina which I live just a few miles from the South Carolina line):D:D:D It cost me $42.00 to fill my car up!!:yay_jump::yay_jump::yay_jump:

ours in Kansas City, Kansas is 1.97 i believe and that was a few days ago. Ill have to check here in a few mins when i go to the store and see what it is.:D

The national lowest US price is $1.00/gallon in Grand Junction CO!! I think I need to go fill up a tanker for myself! :eek:

:yay_jump: Paid $1.87 yesterday :yay_jump: We filled up 2 vehicles (SUV & Toyata Camry) from empty for less that what I paid last month to fill up my SUV :yay_jump:

I paid $2.39 today (which was very exciting) it stopped pumping at $33.00 and I thought for a second something was wrong w/the pump!:p Boy was I happy when I realized that my car was FULL!:thumbup:

It looks like my area is still the higest! I paid $2.79 this am and I thought
I was getting a bargain!:( Unless you go into NJ the NY stations remain
about the same.

That's how much I had to pay the other day. My car was almost on E and I only paid 33! I was THRILLED. I have a 17 gallon tank in my car, so you can imagine how much it was to fill up at $4.00 a gallon, which I know SUV's still pay more, but I have a CAR lol.

1.99.9 yesterday. :) I have a big tank on my car so 1/2 tank cost me $22.00!!! Weee!! It was $44.00 before.. so I'm quite happy! I got a Volvo Wagon, I think it's like a survival car cuz they have these huge tanks. LOL! I got it for 1/2 price used (the car). ;)
