sammiz made some very good points in a post earlier and requested that discussions of 'concerns' be dropped from this thread so that its focus be returned to baby Emma, which is exactly what happened. Now all of a sudden issues from another site have been drug over here and the finger of blame is being pointed at YT members!?

I think at the point that people here are being accused of and blamed for what some nutter on another site is saying then it can be said that this situation has gotten way out of hand. I didn't think this thread should be closed either because so many did want to keep up w/ Emma's progress, but if the only thing that is going to be posted is a bunch of rants and outbursts and blaming other members for something, then maybe it should be.

YorkiePI sounds like a Yt name to me!!

I'm not up for arguing today... but the reason that we are well aware that the person who was posting on the CNN site is a YT member, is due to the fact that they originally posted direct quotes from this YT thread... as well, mention was made of Natalie's illness and donations received last year.

It wasn't difficult to recognize...

You know, unlike some people here, I'm not going to blinding start accusing or blaming other people. I don't know what was 'quoted' because I never saw any of the comments here or on the ireports site...I guess they had all been deleted when I looked?

But it's very silly to assume that only actual members here read here or even that they are the only ones who comment on things that go on here. We all know that knot to be the case and frequently see subjects on one board being discussed on the next. In any case, what some nutter said on some other site, does not IMO, warrant lashing out and accusing YT members of something.
How does THAT keep the focus on Emma, may I ask? That is the claimed point of this thread, is it not?

Personally, I think THIS IS the continental divide right here. It's the issue of personal donations. If donations were made directly to a vet, or a neutral third party - I think everyone would then be on the same page. The issue that is making others speak up so vehemently is that of personal donations. If you could put that issue to rest, Dena, I think you'd save yourself a world of pain - and have some peace. A neutral funds-holder would probably smooth a lot of feathers.

The opotion and information has been added to send the money directly to the vet's office. But again, as soliciting for donations isn't allowed here, I don't think it's being made a widely known fact here...as it should be.

did they accuse you? no lol so why does it bother you so much??? If people are calling out dena she has that same right? dont call us negative or rude for giving out opinions on who the poster is.

The finger of blame was pointed at those who'd posted in this thread earlier, so yes, I feel like I have every right to be offended. Furthermore, I and others were called negative and rude for giving MY opinion earlier, well the door swings both ways. If I didn't then I would not have started posting again. I would have dropped the whole issue, considered it thoroughly hashed over already and let the focus return to Emma as sammiz requested earlier.

If all this is going to turn into is the blame game, which is clearly all it has been for the past several pages, then maybe this thread has run it's course.
