Personally, I think THIS IS the continental divide right here. It's the issue of personal donations. If donations were made directly to a vet, or a
neutral third party - I think everyone would then be on the
same page. The issue that is making others speak up so vehemently is that of personal donations. If you could put that issue to rest, Dena, I think you'd save yourself a world of pain - and have some peace. A neutral funds-holder would probably smooth a lot of feathers.
