I am still sending prayer's for this precious little bundle of pup that your so carefully trying to nurish. I hope her little fact starts to heal and she's not in pain. Be strong little Emma. We're all praying for you. Dena, you really a special human being. Bless you once again for caring for this helpless little one. |

I have just reading this from day one and I just have to say that, what a incredible journey you've been on with this little pup. Most people wouldn't bother to put in a fraction of the effort you have put into saving her. Good Luck and I will continue to keep my self posted. You truely are a wonderful and special person for what you have done. |

I've been following your story and I just wanted to say your doing amazing (again)!! Do you know any nurse friends? I wonder if they could assist in getting some of that skin glue stuff they use on children's wounds? I'm not sure if it's to toxic for a little pup or not but it might work better than the stitches. I tear up every time I read your updates. I can't imagine the stress you are going through... I thought it was stressful enough bringing home and raising our Winston who is now 6 months old. I applaud you!! Kiss Emma again for me!! |
Awe ... it looks like the snuggle puppy is just what little Emma needed. She is so adorable! Praying for her to continue to grow strong and heal. |

I just saw this thread about an hour ago and have sat here and read the whole thing...I cannot believe how fortunate Emma was to be placed with you! You are an amazing woman! I dealt with a similar situation when I was in middle school. A stray cat gave birth to a litter of kittens in our flowerbed and abandoned one single kitten on the same day. My stepdad found it in 101 degree heat (Summer) and we rushed to the vet. THey gave him a 20% chance at surviving. Night after night I stayed up feeding and taking care of this little guy...even named him Mickey b/c he was as small as a mouse! Memories aside, I'm so glad you're her "mommy", you seem to be doing a perfect job! You're in my thoughts and I hope to hear good news on the next update! |

I just checked on little Emma on the live cam and she sure is loving her new snuggle puppy. Thanks to whoever sent this to her. Looks like it was exactly what she needed to settle her down. Dena you are doing a great job..I hope you are able to get some rest in between feedings. Praying for you both. xo |
Dena, I feel so bad for her messed-up stitching :mad: When does the 'good' vet get back? When is she supposed to return for a check-up? You're doing such a good job. |

It looks like Emma loves her new Snuggle Puppy. What a wonderful gift. Does she know there are probably more YT members watching her than tv? She's a star! Will she be sending out autographed pawprints:)? She is so strong for all she's been thru, bless her heart. |

Oh my goodness!!! :eek: I just weighed Emma.... after potty... and before feed....... <<fanning self>> I can hardly believe it!!! She weighs 3.9 ounces!!!! That's ONE HUNDRED AND TWELVE GRAMS!!!!!!!!!! I mean WOWZAAAAA!!!!! :yay_jump::yay_jump::yay_jump: Pooh is "pudding" rather than "pea soup".... mouth is more like "cooked hamburger" than raw... but at least it's still pretty much together.... Emma is soooooo content with her new little snuggle puppy from Nid (Winston's Mom).... May just sent us an email letting me know that it will be EMMA'S FIRST CHRISTMAS, hahaha... at our house very soon..... (AND she even thought of the Yorkies!!! AND from the sound of it, even Mommy's getting spoiled!!) ;) Tracy (Beabble) has been working her butt off for "the famous face" over here... and Emma now has her VERY OWN MYSPACE PAGE!!!! hahahaha.... you people absolutely AMAZE ME!!!! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be giving out the link yet, since I don't know if Tracy is finished with it... but I can't help it.... she did a beautiful job!! The photo slideshow that I put together for Emma's page is running very slow... and I think maybe even stopping all together for some people.... so we're still working on that..... will hopefully have it fixed soon... THAT'S THE BEST NEWS!!!!!! She's really making progress. So glad she's enjoying the snuggle puppy, even though now all that we can see on Emma TV is a little furbutt. I haven't seen her wiggle as much, but that just means there's less of a chance of her hurting her little face right? |
