| Were gettin a new fireplace before the wood floors are installed starting Tue. :) We had those huge stones on about 4 inches of morter. It was so ugly. When we had them put in a new fireplace, it made the stones look even worse so we are having them take it all off and make a totally different one. We ordered the mantel in white and the tile they are going to put in is called Tumble Travertine. Here are the guys taking off the stones. They weighed about 2 tons. |

| It's been difficult on me and the girls the past two days. I have them in the kitchen area with gates up when I'm in there, but when I go upstairs I have to take them with me or they have a fit. I think because of the noise and such. The guys come back Monday to set the tile, but Tuesday is going to be rough. They will pull out the carpet and chip out the tile in the entry way, and our entry was is not small. It's 15 feet by 8 ft..with two steps at each end. (one end going down into the living room to the right and the other end going down into the breakfast room. Were having the stairs done too, plus the upstairs hall and computer/play-room. It will take them three to four days to complete and the girls and I will have to hold up in the kitchen breakfast area. Sunday we have to take everything out of the living room and computer/play room. Things are already dusty and messy. I don't do well with messes and dirt, so this is hard and going to get even harder on me. Yuk! |

| Hey, I have an idea. Pack up the girls and come to Michigan for a few days. We can hang out at the Lk Michigan beach or my neighbor's pool, have a few cool beverages, walk the dunes or go up to Silver Lake for a dune ride. It's only going to be in the low 80's next week. I know it must be hard to live with the noise and mess but keep telling yourself how nice it will be when it's over.Maybe try and find one little corner of your world to hide in until it's finished.
