We had those huge stones on about 4 inches of morter. It was so ugly. When we had them put in a new fireplace, it made the stones look even worse so we are having them take it all off and make a totally different one. We ordered the mantel in white and the tile they are going to put in is called Tumble Travertine. Here are the guys taking off the stones. They weighed about 2 tons. |
