| I saw this episode tonight too and was really irritated. The judge with the dog sitting with her that said the comment "dogs are not Barbie dolls, dogs are dogs" really got to me! I don't even like when they show her face because she always has a nasty condescending face on. I think they should be focused on the fact that Bella wasn't harmed or upset in any way by wearing clothes but the owner that got expelled actually looked like she could be very nasty to her dog and the dog was out of control. The behavior of the dog and owner should be the topic not whether they wear clothes or not. In fact the judge in the middle (the man) is an editor for two dog magazines and I am sure they advertise clothes in there! Oh, I am so mad right now!!!

| Maybe the judge is jealous because Bella is prettier then her dog! I didn't like her comments either. My husband was taking up for the judge's point of view. That didn't go over well.

| Rylie used to hate being dressed until he realized he was getting attention...and HE loves getting my attention. Now if I'm dressing Lacy or brushing her, he tries to get in between us or brings me a toy. He knows when I say "Your turn!"

| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Well, being a member of the Crazy Club here on YT (for people who dress their dogs in case you don't know), I really didn't like those comments either. I believe their reason for the comments was due to that part of the competition tonight was how the dogs were groomed, and they could not see that because of the dress. WHATEVER!!!! They made way to big of a deal about it and did make it sound more like they disliked the fact that she dressed her dog. I figured that the girl with the giant schnauzer would be the one that got voted off tonight, but after the other girl's outburst to the judges, I really thought that they were going to change their decision and vote her and Bella off, but they didn't. The choice they did make on who should leave is the only thing I agreed with tonight.

| YT 2000 Club Member | I think their is nothing wrong with dressing you dog, how is that hurting anything? Their are a lot of people who like to dress their dogs, if not then there would not be tons of clothing lines out for our little ones. Heck I even see big dogs dressed in t shirts and coats! They should not have made a big deal out of her dressing her dog!

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm glad I've missed both episodes so far if this is what happens. I don't need another cause to be upset about, and I would have been as PO'd as you are, Michele!

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | I couldn't believe how nasty that judge was to her. I don't really dress mine since they tend to matt and never go out much except for a special occassion, but think they look so cute all dressed up, The judge also said something about other dogs not being able to smell their scent or something like that, I don't really want strange dogs sniffing my girls. I think they will get a lot of flack over that comment.

| I felt so bad for her and also thought that the judges were being rude. This was suppose to be like a dinner party so I actually think it was a cute idea to dress her. Tammy |

| gosh, I really wanted to see that show! I'm sorry I missed it! I do like to dress Zoe and it doesn't bother me at all if someone else thinks it's ridiculous. We are all free to have our own opinions and that's ok if some don't agree with me. It's even ok if most don't agree with me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions that doesn't bother me at all. Of course, like I said, I didn't see the show. |

| Well I did not see that show.. and I am glad I didn't..I love to dress my babies.. and have an older cousin who I love.. but thinks I am nuts.. I say oh well...If I enjoy it.. that is the main thing I figure.. and my dogs are not getting hurt from it.. so again we do what we want to do.. As for the judge...there was not need to say that crap to some one one live television..I am surprised they have not gotten a lot of bad feedback from that.. anne |
