| For anyone who might be considering this! I posted back in March that I was considering having Lasik done. Well Yesterday was my big day! I was scared to death, almost fainted and vomited. I was sweating and the most nervous I have ever been. They gave me two sedatives because I ended up needing AK in my right eye. That was because my astigmatism was so high in that eye (20/2400) they had to cut my eye w/a scalpel from 10-2 o'clock and then again from 4-7 o'clock. I got up this morning and for the first time in over 30 years was able to read the clock w/out my glasses. I started screaming "Holy Crap"................my poor hubby thought something terrible was wrong. Im sorry for babbling but I just want to tell anyone who is considering it - GO FOR IT!!!!! It is amazing, and the pleasure I got from going today and purchasing myself a pair of fashionable sunglasses was amazing! Thanks to everyone back in march who were so supportive and informative (especially Marci!) Just had to share my happy news!!!!

That's true Sammi - I know it took my eyesight getting worse over the years for me to appreciate, what I use to have.
