| That is wonderful news!! Can I ask you all who have had it done a question? Do they sedate you really well when doing it? It took me years just to wear contacts because I hate anything that close to my eye. I can't imagine how panicked I would be seeing a needle or scapel come to my eye. But it sure would be nice not to have to wear contacts or glasses everytime I want to watch a movie or have to drive.

They apply numbing drops several times and they give you valium. You need to be awake because you have to be able to follow directions during the procedure. (like look at the orange light) so they are unable to knock you out completely!

|  That is great! Glad that all turned out so well. I have several friends and my brother had it done and they love it! I am so jealous as I am not a canidate since my corneas are too large. I have one friend who was just on the edge and she had it done. She now has a halo with her night driving. Enjoy glasses free living!

| Yay!! I'm so glad it worked out for you!! I loooove having had my eyes done!! It's the best thing I ever did! I had PRK and it turned out sooooo great. I have better than 20/20 vision!
