Hooray :grin2: sounds like Sadie is going to have a wonderful life from now on..YTers to the rescue AGAIN :yorkietal Such a great bunch of folks here :D |
Thank you for the update. You know...... it was in Sadie's kismet to come to you... You are a good human being, and I believe God led the person who left Sadie, to your doorsteps because you would know what to do. |
Gosh I just read your thread! Wow I can't believe the nerve of some people! I do believe in Karma, what goes around comes around. I just hope that when someone dumps them in a strangers yard they are as nice as you! I wish the best for this little girl! You know you could call her Karma and when Karma gets those who didn't treat her right it will be done in her name.............................. |
Great news for Sadie. She is so pretty.:p |

**** UPDATE **** Just got back from the vet and yes Sadie did have a chip! They called the owners and they said keep it and hung up on them. The vet's also said that the police would be in on this since this is considered abandonment. Sadie's original owners live about 3 zipcodes away from me in the same city. Sadie's original name is Baby. I didn't really get to ask too many questions I was just really happy those people didn't change their mind and wanted Sadie back. They definitely did not deserve her! And I am still waiting for a reply from my neighbors ... I wonder what they will decide on. |

YAY - Sadie is FREE from her obviously non-caring environment :D |
Oh poor Sadie! How can people be like that? That's inhumane!(sp?) I tell you what I want to do to those people...well I really can't tell you, but I bet you can guess and its not pretty either! It just breaks my heart that people can be so so ignorant...maybe that's not the word but it will work. Did the vet give her a medical check over, to see if there was a medical reason why those stupid people abandoned her? I am so glad you got her and that she's safe. She is so adorable! Give her bunches of hugs and kisses from us! |
Some people....Atleast she's out of that hellhole of a home. I bet she'll do great with a fellow YTer or your neighbor. Thanks for caring :) |

Ya know...To think they actually named her BABY - What nerve....you don't do that to your Baby    |
I can't frigging believe the nerve of these people. I thought of this little dog all night and convienced myself that some poor old lady got sick and could not care for her precious pet any longer. After all she did have a bed, dirty but it was a bed, something to chew on and food. All caring items purchased by someone who loves their pet. Now this! I hope they get drug into court and it hits the local papers. "Poor little dog abandoned and tied to fence to fend for it's self". Good for that vet to report it. My hat is off to him. I hope those rotten people are so embarrased by the incident when and if it get's out and get fined up the ying-yang! May they rot in H_ll. Beth, I hope you get her. She's been blessed to get out of that terrible so-called home. |
I know right? I was so shocked too ... I am getting so attached to her and hubby loves her too. She's so trained and jumps right into the car when I open the door. She's such a joy to walk ... I'm really lazy and don't usually like to walk. But couldn't help but took Sadie out for one anyways. :D |
I was just thinking that she is well trained and it makes me think that a spouse was jealous of her, someone took the time to train her to do sit and be well manored and it seems to me she was loved by one of her owners,i feel real sorry for that person because they lost there baby and who knows what there situation is at home and they did tie her up to a home that they know will take care of her, this just make me sad,my father was abusive to my mother and was jealous of every thing my mother loved and accused her of everything,i just get these gut feelings some times,my dad did change when my neice was born, she was born to change my father,he is has passed away sixteen years ago. |

Awww .... that is very true. Someone did take the time to train her and did an excellent job in doing so. I'm sure Sadie was truly loved at one point and that is probably why she is crying and sad. There must be some sort of hardship going on in their household. And I am just glad they did tie her up so she didn't get hit by a car trying to go home. |
Chi CHI or PAP...she is cute! |

I had not thought of anything like that....The person that did this definitely had to be a mean person.....Poosdarling bless your heart.....you were sure handed a lot of responsibility. Sadie sounds like such a sweetheart, and you definitely are too for taking such good care of her! Keep us posted about little Sadie.....sounds like there is more than one option for this little girl. |

Ah poor Baby :( But is sounds like Sadie will have a great home now. ;) She looks just like a long haired chi I know.. same ears, snout everything. What did the vet say about her breed? |
well it is a sad story with a happy ending so far... and at least the previous owners cared enough to tie the dog to the fence so she would be found, and not run in the street to get hit by a car, and not dump her in the woods somewhere.. they searched out a good looking puppy home, and they cared enough to train her, and they cared enough to send dog food and the old dog bed... and toys too.. someone loved that dog a lot... its not right, but it could have been a lot worse for the poor puppy... maybe they were going through a divorce, or another tragedy... we will never know i guess.. that is one lucky dog:animal-pa |

I think she made herself right at home ! How are the residents taking the visitor? |
No matter what kind of tragedy or family issues anyone is having, there is NO excuse in the book for abandoning a helpless animal. For Heaven's sake, it doesn't take that much time or energy to find a home for a housebroken, little, young dog. Or at LEAST drop it off at a pound or shelter and pay the 30 bucks. just try SOMETHING to find it a home. It doesn't matter if they thought they were dropping her at a good home (and thank GOD they did), anyone could have picked her up and who knows what would have happened. They are mindless idiots and they don't DESERVE dog. Especially Sadie. If someone loved this dog and it was taken from them, that is just devestating and I'm sorry for them. But if this is just a couple or whatever going through a rough patch...NO EXCUSE. God bless you for taking in Sadie. I hope you can either keep her or find her a home (I think Beth is already in love lol). |
My neighbors came by last night. They have decided to take Sadie. I got to keep her for one more night since they wanted to do some shopping for her today and get the house ready for her. I guess everything turned out well. I'm sure she will be super loved since the husband is a stay at home. And Sadie will be the only pup so she will get all the attention and love. I'm really glad Sadie has found a forever home. I am going to give her a bath later so she can smell all yummy when she goes to her new home. :p |
What a cute little thing! glad she has found a forever home! |
I'm glad everything worked out for her in the end. I'm a firm believer in things happen for a reason. She didn't belong in her other home, for whatever the reason may be. |
