| ![]() Is there a way to block unavailable calls from Verizon Wireless? I called Verizon Wireless and they (rudely) said I couldn't. I thought I remember a topic before on this issue but I can't get the search option to work correctly.

| ![]() I set my phone ringer to none when a blocked or unavailable call comes in. I still get the missed call notice but the ringer never goes ![]() Maybe you can do this? |

No Longer a Member | ![]() I have my home phone number privacy blocked. I also have Anonymous call rejection, and I have AT&T. If someone calls and has their number blocked, it will give them a recording that they have to reveal their ph # to call. I get that when I call people sometime, and I have to do the same. Now, I still get calls titled "out of area." That is a big loophole for companies to bypass anonymous call rejection. If you were to use a calling card to call someone, it would come through as out of area, and it can bypass the anonymous call rejection. So solicitors will use similar services to get their calls through. Those are the ones I don't like. (BTW, I used to be a telephone operator for GTE (Verizon)) |
