| Judy, so sorry to hear about your accident and as a fellow Yard Sale Junkie ...LOL .... I can certainly commiserate with your plight. Last weekend we went out early in the morning and did not get back until after noon and then it was a struggle to drive past some that we saw on the way home!!! LOL Sure hope you feel better soon and do what the doc says, or it will be a longer wait and heal time. Hugs to you..... |

| You're so sweet! Thank you. Oh my, I keep drifting off at the computer. I think I need another nap. Who knew just sitting around all day can wear you out?! What's up with that?

| LOL! Yep, it's broken. John kept saying that to himself all weekend like he couldn't really believe it. I'm not exactly sure it's set in my brain yet either because I keep trying to get up and do stuff.

| Now, I've heard everything. Yes, a woman who continues to shop after freshly breaking an ankle has got it BAD!!! Women and their shopping! I'm a geek so thanks for the x-ray picture! That break looks terrible! It looks like this is John's chance to pay back the care you gave him when he needed it. Don't work him too hard, okay? Take care of yourself and best wishes to you both. |

We just got back from seeing another doctor and found out that the reason it looks like two breaks on the x-ray is that it's what they call a classic spiral fracture. Basically, I twisted my ankle as I broke it. I need to see an orthopedic surgeon now. The doctor today said that she doesn't think the pin makes much of a difference except that it might help it heal more quickly with a little less pain. I told her that I thought that was a big difference! lol We'll see what the orthopedic surgeon says. Thanks for checking on John, he really appreciates it.
