| Thank you so much! Yes, he's a little confused. He really doesn't know what to think of the crutches. He keeps jumping up on the couch and nudging them like he thinks they're alive or something. It's prety funny.

Hello my name is Sharon and I am a Yard Sale Junk too. Sorry to hear that you broke your ankle, but happy to hear that you got those wonderful plates. Thank you for putting the x-ray up too. I think that they are so amazing to look at. I will pray that you have a speedy recovery and your dh has the patience to go through it all with you. Being down and out can take it out on the caregiver just as much. Take care.

| Yes, and it's tough to sleep with this boot thingy on! What's your excuse?

| My future hubby is sick and we stayed most of the night in the hospital last night. I slept most of today with him and now I am up and he is continuing to sleep. Darn pain medication keeps knocking him out which is a good thing. Blaa. So I am on here looking for a gift to give him for whatever may come up in the future. I like to plan ahead. Sorry to hear that you are having trouble sleeping with your boot. That must be very uncomfortable. Just try and keep it raised. Maybe put some pillows along the sides. That is the worst when it falls off the pillow. Ouch. Oh by the way I am a Certified Nursing Assistant so I get to see stuff like this all the time.

| I am so sorry about your fiance's illness. That has to be tough. Try to get some naps in today. I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you.

| Ahh it is no big deal. He is feeling a ton better today. It was his snoring that keeps me up. If I fall asleep before him it is great. But he was sleeping all day and all night so it is hard to just jump in there and sleep. LOL. Well I hope that you hear about your leg and what they are going to do about it. Good luck. I hope that you don't have to have surgery.

| Judy, I am so sorry and gosh it looks like quite a break, can't believe I missed this. I am so proud of you that you got those plates but you take care of yourself so you'll be out with the rest of the 'yard sale junkies' in no time. (or least by the end of the summer) Hugs, Joan

| Thanks, sweetie! yes, the docs are pleased with how it's healing. I am in a little bit of hot water about my pain meds. Apparently, my family practitioner has continued to refill my prescriptions and the orthopedist (sp?) isn't very happy about it. He has told me to start tapering off.

| Hi Judy, I missed this too - it happened while I was on vacation and didn't have internet access. I hope you are feeling better now! Are you still on crutches? Can you bear any weight? I hope it heals quickly!

| The orthopedic surgeon saw me on the crutches and took them away! lol He said I was more dangerous on them. I can walk on it with the special boot brace thing, but not for long. Thanks for asking.
