| very o/t needing help with paypal hello! ive never used paypal before and i will be making a purchase on ebay and i want to do all my research before i do. i know on the ebay it says this qualifies for buyer protection upt o $350 CDN. if my item does not arrive and i cannot get through the seller, how will i make a dispute with paypal? andhow many days do i have??? i bought a rubber bracelet (rubber with rhine stone names for $12) and i never recieved it and by the time i reported this to ebay it was too long and they couldn't do anything. so i want to make sure i ahve all the information because once i make the payment, i will be on a time restraint. |

| I think it's 45 days, but I think you need to report a possible issue sooner than that. If it's a high dollar item, I would request insurance and pay a little extra to the seller for it just to be safe. That seller MIGHT have it included in the listing, but you should look and make sure. At the very least make sure there's delivery confirmation. You also need to check a few things. What is the seller's feedback rating? How much experience do they have on Ebay? Are the shipping prices unreasonably high or low? Make sure your paypal and ebay address are right and that they match. I'm sure others will chime in here, but that's my best advice. Good luck with your bid!

| Well, good luck with it. Knock on wood, everything I've won on Ebay has arrived with no issues. Sorry your first experience with the bracelet was a bummer though.
