Yes but I didn't like the choices they gave me. Sometimes if I wait it out I get better (other) choices.

If I dont like my choices, I exit the game and close out of it by double clicking the home button and holding my finger down on the app (at the bottom of the screen) until they start shaking and clicking the red - . This will start you fresh and give you new word choices. Lisa and I are up to 20 points lol. You need to catch up!

I've only tried cold octopus and yes, it was chewy. I'll have to branch out and try it elsewhere.

That's how I described the octopus to bf yesterday and he was like,oh yeah....!

Somehow I find chunks of octopus arm less scary looking than slices of it in sushi, don't know why.

No. The BBQ (grilled) version P and I had tasted like, and had the texture of, BBQ chicken wings (of the sea) We obviously had a cocktail or 2 to help us arrive upon our profound description of octopi

It was not fishy or sea ~ y at all. Neither was the conch salad

Choose your preparation style carefully, especially for the first time. Soups can be rubbery and Priscilla said Japanese style is served cold and also overcooked.

The Japanese way can be chewy. That was the first and only kind of octopus I had ever had prior to the Greek way. IMO the Greek way is far superior in yummy ness and very tender, not chewy at all. If you see it on the menu at a Mediterranean place try it! The kind I had yesterday was in a lemon sauce. It was very sour after a few pieces, as it was meant to be an appetizer. I had it as an entree so the sauce was a bit much toward the end.

Are u sure that wasn't Korean style? They eat baby octopus still alive. Japanese eat full grown octopus and in slices.
