You beat me to this! :rolleyes: I read the entire thread and didnt see 'chicken feet' or 'jelly fish' til you!

I LOVE it!! So yummy. It's hard to find a chinese restaurant that serves it--usually "Dim SUm" places. :thumbup::thumbup: I tried it once in NYC's Chinatown and boy am I hooked!

It was so slimy at first but so tasty! Hubby and I are really big on sushi and Japanese food. They have this appetizer called "Baby Taco" which is baby octopus (cooked), served chilled and marinated in the best sauce! :thumbup::thumbup: Delish!

Raw oysters.. :thumbup::thumbup:

Pork grinds are pretty yummy too.

oh, and I love anything pickled. :rolleyes::thumbup:

You must not have seen the Balut. :eek: That one has a chicken embryo in it. Go check out the images that Potter posted. You will change your opinion. I am certain of it!

I like pork rinds too. But jelly-fish???!!! How in the world would you even prepare that? I have seen lots of them as I grew up on the beach...got into a whole bunch of baby ones once (sting, sting, sting, ouch!!)...but never have considered them as food. Could you expound on that a bit?

Have you ever had pickled eggs? Just curious. They are a biggie in the south. Or...they used to be years ago. I haven't been there in a loooong time.

I tried Escargot once. Hated it. I also refuse to eat Calamari, although my housband loves it. How about Abalone? Do you eat that?

Well, it's not jellyfish.... but when I was pregnant with my second daughter, I had this insatiable desire for quite a strange combination....

Red radish and green olive sandwiches.... YUM!!! I craved them through three pregnancies to follow and still throw one together every now n' then!! :p

White bread... lots of butter.... alternating layers of red radish slices, salt and green olive (with pimento) halves..... nummy nummmm!!! LOL ;)

OK I know what you mean when you say crayfish and fat back,but it still looks funny to me. I'm used to seeing it crawfish ( no, I don't suck the head) and cracklin! Those are some of my favorites.

omg is all I can say. Two weeks ago, a man at the deli counter ordered hog's head cheese...I had to stare. He wanted it cut thick. :( *shudder*

Alot of my dear ones turn up there noses and say ewe to my jewish delicasies that I love and was intoduced to as a child:chopped liver, kbnishes,meat,bloberriesans sour cream, fried matzah,tongue and sliced corned beef,challah, borsh,most smoked fish with onion and rye bread,zmisss.
