| Inappropriate landlord!!! So last night hubby, myself, and our furkids were all sound asleep in bed when the furkids started going ape! They were barking and yapping like crazy. So I finally got them calmed down and since I was already up I went to the bathroom. Mind you, I'm in a t-shirt and undies, and I meet up with my landlord who's doing laundry (we share a washer and dryer) I scuttle into the bathroom embarassed as hell and wait until she goes back downstairs. When I got back to the room I checked the clock and it was 3:00 am!!! Why in the world was she doing laundry in the middle of the night??? Well she woke the furkids and myself up again when she came to get it out of the dryer. Needless to say, I'm not happy. Just had to vent. Thanks for listening!

| I feel your pain.... we have a girl renting the downstairs/basement area of our house with a completely separate entrance. She comes home from the bar about 3:30 a.m. just about every night and proceeds to slam the door. Just BUGS me SOOOO bad! Maybe if it happens again you can set some laundry hours? We did that in my last house where i had a few roommates. My room was right next to the laundry room and we decided no laundry after 10 p.m. or before 9 a.m.

| I rented a basement apartment when I went away to school when I was 18. I once woke up one morning to find my landlord IN THE KITCHEN moving furniture around! She tried to make my roommate and I pay extra money per person if we had any overnight guests - even if it was family visiting us! We had a separate entrance but there was a door that connected our kitchen to her living room, so she waltzed right in whenever she felt like it! Talk about BAD LANDLORDS!!! Needless to say... I did not stay long. It could be much worse — try to talk to your landlord about setting hours for using the washer/dryer. Hopefully she'll be understanding!

| That is weird! I could not imagine that! Im so glad Ive always had my own 'place' so to speak. My old apt had a laundry room that closed at 10pm. Which I thought was weird bc it was a seperate room not connected to any apt and would not keep anyone up, yet they closed it sooooo early! Drove me nuts!

| I'm so happy that my roommates are moving out in 2 days! They do this kind of thing all the time..not neccessarily the laundry, but just being up, moving around the house during the night. Of course it wakes up the dogs and it's impossible to sleep though KaCee's shrill bark!
