| You will be fine. I have faith in you. LOL Good luck. I dont know what they are going to tell you to clean it with but I have found that sea salt mixed with bottled water works really great. Alcohol burns to much and tea tree oil takes to long to heal it. I have used sea salt with a few of my piercings and it works Great!! |

| I'd take a friend(s) along for moral support (aka distraction) I had like 4 people in the room with me when I got mine done. It makes it pretty hard to chicken out with all those people watching you. Do not use peroxide on it either. Peroxide will kill the infection, but it also kills healthy cells too. I don't see why you couldn't go to the beach right away. I'd try to keep sand out of it and clean it very well when you got home, but other than that i don't know of any problems.

| If i remember correctly they had me lay down flat on my back or propped up on my elbows. just don't look at it. stare into your husband eyes. it will be over in a second and once it's over the pain is minor. Not at all like getting your cartilage pierced which hurts like a bitch for the next month or 6. and if you've gotten a tatoo you can do this. Tattoos are 45 minutes or more of pain. this is gonna be 30 seconds if that. An advil or ibuprofen might help, but it might make you bleed slightly more also so just be aware so that doesn't scare you.

| I remember how scared I was.. I was crying when i got to the place.. I waiting like 3 hours until they were closing and the guy was like listen, its now or never.. i got up on the table and all of a sudden i was like, "wait, i don't want this done" and the guy was like too late, its already in.. I didn't believe him until i looked down and saw the needle in.. I didn't feel it AT all and trust me, i am a baby.. I cry when i get shots... I ask the dr for lolipops

| Don't worry..you will be fine. I was really scared too, but then it was really no big deal. One thing I want to tell you, not sure if anyone else mentioned this or not, but make sure they are using a hollow needle. If they don't it doesn't turn out as nicely (IMO). I have friends who didn't get it done with a hollow needle and it's like there is skin that moves with their ring if they turn it. Most of my friends and I had mine done with a hollow needle and it doesn't do that. GOod luck! |

It wont hurt! Ihave mine done. I would recommend a curved barbell though. Mine had a hard time healign until I put one of those in and then it healed right away. Good Luck
