If i remember correctly they had me lay down flat on my back or propped up on my elbows. just don't look at it. stare into your husband eyes. it will be over in a second and once it's over the pain is minor. Not at all like getting your cartilage pierced which hurts like a bitch for the next month or 6. and if you've gotten a tatoo you can do this. Tattoos are 45 minutes or more of pain. this is gonna be 30 seconds if that. An advil or ibuprofen might help, but it might make you bleed slightly more also so just be aware so that doesn't scare you.
