John Stamos :p He's still as hot today as he was.. 20 years ago when I met him. |
Only two famous encounters for me:) First one I met John Travolta on the set of Urban Cowboy at Gilleys Nightclub in Pasenda, Texas (lived there in the late 70's and early 80's) 2nd one. I DANCED with Dan Ackroyd at Phillys nightclub in 1986!! (Minnesota) I was young and intoxicated and crazy at the time. He stopped in to sing a few sets with Lamont Cranston Band. A friend dared me to go up to him and give him my cycling glasses (remember the two "WIld and Crazy guys skit?) and he wore them while we danced and kept them, they were pink!!! LOL Oh yeah, and I called my sister from the club that night and said "guess who I just danced with?" and told her and she said "yeah right, whatever, you're drunk"!! LOL and the following Monday in our local newspaper they had a review of his set with the band and she about fell over!!! HAhA |

That's so funny! I just assumed he did because he speaks at Temple at least once or twice a semester. I've also seen him do a lot of press where he is wearing Temple hats, sweatshirts, etc. Why would you do either of those things dropped out of college?! That makes a lot of sense. ETA: Oops, I read on and it says he went back 6 years later. I wonder if he was famous by then. |

We sort of kind of 'met' Jean-Michel Jarre as they rushed us along at a autograph signing after his free outdoor RENDEZ-VOUS HOUSTON concert in 1986. It was standing room only in front of the stage, but we were the equivalent of about the 8-10th row just left of center. He's pretty big in Europe. The music doesn't really start until about the 4:30 mark - |

Others I've worked with... James Garner (super nice guy), Michael Landon (I had a crush on him for years... told funny stories about Bonanza) John Ritter a couple of times (very nice), Pat Morita, John Travolta (very briefly), John Carridine (he was very old), Keith Carridine (he showed us his butt), Robbie Benson (his voice is to die for), Terry Bradshaw (very funny), James Brown (the football player, not the singer), Dorothy Hammill, Finola Hughes, Vicki Lawrence, Sly Stallone (his shoulders were as wide as he was tall...), Robin Williams (he's a very funny guy), Steven Spielburg, Tom Cruise (he's very nice and genuine) Katie and Suri (she's got the prettiest smile!), Isaac Hayes (wonderful, nice guy), Kirstie Alley, Keeley Shay Smith (before she married Pierce Brosnan... she was a total b&#@h!), Suzanne Sommers, Carol Duvall, Christopher Lowell, Steven Tyler... I know there's more, but I can't remember them. Should have gotten pics and autographs, but didn't. Thanks for the thread... took me back a bit! |
