Wow..I'm laughing at some of these stories! I haven't really met anyone famous i don't think..tons of Jockeys & trainers of course as i used to work in horseracing here in the UK..got chatted up years ago by frankie Dettori (Jockey):p Mary Quant (fashion designer?) visited the stables i used to work in, and i got the racing commentator Peter o'Sullivan's autograph on Grand National day! bet none of you know any of these names! lol..some UK members might do of course!:D
Oh yeah...David Cameron..Leader of the Conservative Party! LOL...

That's really cool, I've heard he is amazingly nice. I'm sure after a great career and finding happiness like he has in the last few years, I'd be nice to everyone too. :p

Taylor Swift- LOVE her! So down to earth and an awesome singer!
Brad Paisley
Luke Bryan- my favorite singers EVER.. he's just now making it big, but he's great!
a few other less well known country stars.

I've also meet several athletes.. mainly profootball players.

I met Patrick Swayze at a Pilates Conference a couple years ago. He was making a special appearance at the dance conference going on from the same company at the time. He was still very hunky!!!!!

Also met Alice Cooper at a golf outing several years ago. Hubby and I took a photo with him and called it our "family photo" that Christmas.

I've met several big names in the yoga and pilates communities; Sean Corne, Rodney Yee, Baron Baptiste, Ana Forest, Paul Grilley, Lolita San Miguel, Mari Windsor, Brooke Siler, Jonathan Urla, Elizabeth Larkin...............

I don't know if you'd consider her famous, but tonight I met Quinn Shephard (she was Donna in Unaccompanied Minors). I was helping out with the incoming freshmen auditions at my acting school, and she auditioned. :)

I met Mark Walhberg but when he was better known as Marky mark and the funky bunch. I met him when I was on Dance party USA I was like 13 years old and all I could say when he said hi to me was OMG your so F*****G hot lol

I ate cookies with Bad English (90's band). My cousin and I were in the cookie shop at the airport waiting for my aunt to get off work. The stopped in, played their boombox, ate cookies and chatted with us. I saw Better Than Ezra at LAX. Ned Jarrett (race car driver) was a client of mine and I spoke with him frequently. I also went to grade school with Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes). My dad worked security at the airport and he escorted Debra Winger off an airplane dressed in a catsuit for Halloween to meet up with a local politician. He also met a bunch of WWF wrestlers Jake the Snake, Andre the Giant...the oldies but goodies. My cousin was on a plane flying back from the movie festival in Colorado (I forget the name of it) with Paris Hilton...she said she wasn't friendly at all. She was texting me about her while on the plane lol.

Okay so I haven't met many famous people but I did meet Backstreet Boys, The Click Five, Aaron Carter, Jesse McCartney, and James Lafferty (One Tree Hill).

Years ago we met Pat Butram (with the Gene Autry group) he was dining in a restaurant and sat in a booth right behind me.

Freddie Fender Singing, at Magic Mountain park years ago.

Barry Goldwater Jr. came to our home to visit. Ed Reinicke he was Lt. Governor to Ronald Reagan when he was the Governor in Calif. Our oldest daughter was very good friends with Ed's daughter, the girls use to go horse back riding together when ever they were in the valley.

Elizabeth Taylor was in the suite across from my room when I was in St.Johns Hospital 30 years ago, never got to meet her but the nurses kept me filled in on the comings and goings of lot of celebrities visiting her.

I also met Liberace.
Frankie Lane singing his famous "Mule Train"at the Kiel audotorium in St.Louis.

The memory of one person that takes priority in our meeting to both my husband and myself was being at the airport to welcome home Viet Nam POW David Rehman released from Viet Nam as a prisoner. He was a POW the same time as John McCain. We also spent some time at several gatherings with him.

Here is a pic of me in 1972 with the seascape (never liked how it came out) I was commissioned to paint for Goulet. Also Sammy Davis Jr. had a still life I painted. My mom and I met Pearl bailey at a remote motel in Indiana once when I was a teen. She was very friendly.

When we lived in Point Pleasant (NJ) I used to run into Richie Samboro (Bonjovi) and Cher (Way back when he was dating her). We also had some drinks with Jack Nicholson. He always came into my son's club. He's originally from Neptune and had a home in Manasquan for the summer. Joe Peci is another. His brother has a home in Point. It wasn't unusual to be on the street and see these people. Now I live in Lacey and all I see is pick up trucks with gun racks. LOL. We do however, go to the Mets/Phillie games in Phillie and get their two hours early and my boys and I have met quite a few of the Met's Players (we're Met fans) such as Jose Reyes, Beltran and Wright. We each have signed balls from the players. Can't wait to go again in August:) Elaine

Oh and I cannot believe I forgot but my biggest thrill was meeting Diana Ross when I was about 13. My mom and I went to Resort's Casino in AC and Diana Ross brought me back stage and took pictures and signed etc. I used to get mad when I saw that book "Call me Miss Ross." I never saw that part of her mentioned. She was nothing but a classy nice lady and I will never forget that night. It was such a thrill. To this day I still love her and her music.
