LOve Johnny Depp! They were filming out here in the desert and my son worked as the set security guard. He took his akita to work with him everyday and Johnny Depp and the rest of the cast all would come over on the breaks and play with him. Johnny Depp invited him and a guest (he picked me) to go to the wrap party in LA. He said to bring the dog! lol... he really loves animals. We didn't go to the party cause we really couldn't afford to drive that far at that time.

Well I worked backstage security at a major MA music venue back in the mid 80's so I met and partied with a few:

U2-was a bodyguard for Bono and the Edge (yep all 113 lbs of me..at the time!) Both so awesome and nice. Loved them

Ozzy Osbourne- was really drunk

Gerry Garcia and the Dead- had beers and a smoke ;) at the local Marriott bar...very cool night (oh those days of youth!)

Martin Mull-from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I worked in advertising and he was in one of my client's TV commercials.

Now I'm pretty boring! :p

Most of these people you probably don't know, but I've met:

-all the members of the band Westlife (lol)
-Dave Attell (comedian)
-all the members of Shadows Fall (metal band) before they were big
-member of Black Label Society (another metal band)

And my cousin is good friends with the lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish...they went to school together

There are probably more, but I can't think right now...

The most famous person I have met is the Bush family...on several occasions. When they lived in Dallas, we went to their house several times. My husband worked with him for 4 years and they are good friends. I have seen the Queen of England on several occasions. My husband has met so many that I can't even name them all.....and I stayed home with the kids:eek:

Donny Osmond (:p).

I've met some people at Broadway stage doors...like Jenna Leigh Green (Sabrina...), Ben Vereen, Diana DeGarmo, Rue McClanahan (Golden Girls). and of course the Broadway actors too, but those are the celebrities I've met.

If you have never seen the movie THE RIGHT STUFF then your missing out on one of the best movies ever made. It's all about that time era and the coming of the space age, Kennedy, his assination, Johnson and all. A great line up of stars and a movie once seen you will want to see over and over. Promise! It a long movie as well.
I also remember three more.
I was getting ready to board a plane in LA and was in line behind the comedian Ron White, and as I was going thru security I noticed he had left his belt in the dish so I just took it and walk fast to catch up to him. He didn't even say thank you. He's very rude. On the plane he just drank and drank.
When I was dining room manager at the Officers Club her on Vandenberg A.F.B. we had a very special dinner for some important people and two of them were Dick Cheney and Colan Powell. VERY nice folks. We have always called Mr. Cheney the Silver Fox.
Then I got to see Allan Jackson in concert. Wasn't impressed at all.

yes they were both very nice!I was a huge fan growing up so i met them when i was like 6, my mom took me to F.A.O Schwartz to see them, they were also 6, then one time at Barnes and Nobles when i was like 12, and another time after that. All times they were very nice, smiling, i took pics with them. But idk how they are now, Ashley seems like she is her sweet old self. Mary kate has changed a lot!

That is awesome.

I once saw Alice Cooper in a golf outfit in Malibu. It was hard to recognize him without all the makeup.

I've met a few opera singers that have worked at the Met in NYC. That's the kind of fame that impresses me.

I was once in the waiting room at a doctor's office, looked at the chair across from me, and there sat Anne Murray. We both had our children with us, but we were the only ones there.
My kids recognized her right away, and I told them not to bother her, she deserved her privacy, and they didn't. I kept my head in a book the whole
time.
She then went over to the receptionist, and asked if she and her children could be put into a private room, as people were staring. (That would have been us, or so she thought)
Anyways, I was offended, and thought she was stuck up and a bit of a snob.
I've never listened to any of her records since.
