YT Addict | ![]() I got my ring at Zales and it's a real diamond and didn't cost even close to 5 k. I was around 1200 and it's one carat. Wait for a sale and they have 12 month no interest. Last edited by sheilajom; 05-15-2008 at 09:55 AM. |

| ![]() I'd suggest getting a gemstone ring instead of CZ. That's what we did back in the ol' days. Then, when you want you can upgrade to a diamond set and use the gemstone as a right hand ring(or pinkie ring). CZ's do not look like diamonds(at least not to me, diamonds are so much prettier and yes, I can tell). I had one for a while and honestly, wearing real diamonds(no matter how small) just feels a whole heck of a lot better than wearing a fake ring. They have gorgeous gemstone rings out there. Morganite is very pretty, a pale pink usually set in rose gold and not too expensive.

| ![]() Not ALL cz's are cut and polished very well, some are poorly polished and look very very fake. Here are some good sites to get cz's - they have rings too, but I would at least buy the stones from them.... betterthandiamond.com - Powered by UBB.threads™ Very good stones: Cubic Zirconia Jewelry by Free CZ |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | ![]() This is the exact same ring you were looking at from the same store just a smaller set but more than half the price ![]() Jewelry from Kay Jewelers, the Jewelry Store for Engagement and Wedding Rings, Diamonds and More Also the thing i love about morgan's is that when your ready to upgrade they trade your ring for the same amount you bought it for no matter what!! I love that so if you paid $1500.00 the give you a $1500.00 credit so you could get a $3000.00 ring for only $1500.00 ![]()

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() QVC and HSN have tons of beautiful rings. Their rings are set in gold, silver, white gold etc. Go find your ring...lol. If you find one you love when the time comes for your real ring then you can take that to the jewler and have them replicate the setting for you so you never miss a beat.

| ![]() QVC & HSN don't really sell very good polished cz's - believe me, there is a difference in how the cz's are cut and polished as to how 'good' they look. |

| ![]() My ring is CZ---- 3 stone, 1.5 total CW, princess cut set in white gold. QVC ` $120.00 I've had it four years and no one has ever doubted that it's anything but real. I put my DH on notice years ago----there are better things to spend our money on than blood diamonds. JMO This year, he's getting me a horse and all the fixings. ![]() My bro was listening to me talk about the horse thing at a family gathering, I'm getting a rescued horse from a great place down in NJ. They have wonderful horses and the adoption fee is a fraction of buying the traditional route. My bro points to my ring and says, "Yeah, but you don't skimp on other things." It gave me great pleasure to tell him, "Honey, that's not diamonds, we put that kind of money towards the farm we're building." Last edited by AngelWorks; 05-15-2008 at 10:15 AM. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() I have my real ring...and honestly I whip it out only for special occassions. I travel into the city on mass transit and won't chance being mugged. The CZs on QVC are gorgeous. You can get a beautiful ring for under $500...depending on how big you want to go. I have a cute CZ solitare pendant and you can't tell the difference from the real to the fake. The best part is CZs are hard as a diamond and don't tarnish etc. You can clean it up when it gets dirty.

| ![]() I like QVC Diamonique, their Epiphany line. I have a lot of their Epiphany rings and bracelets. I think they hold up well and look very believable. I have ordered from CZ from HSN before but prefer QVC. Congratulations on your engagement! ![]()

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() They have very nice stuff now...matter of fact Tacori (which is a very expensive diamond seller) is making a line for them now. My friend at work got this to wear as an every day sparkle...the ring is gorgeous, detailing is super. You can't tell it's not a real Diamond. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail
