| Anyone artists? I have a question for those who paint. Can I layer oil paint on top of acrylic paint? Also, for those who draw, how do you store your drawings? I have some larger ones and have no idea where to put them so that they don't get destroyed. I'm thinking that it'd be best to roll them but then what???

| It would be best to use acrylic paint to paint over the acrylic, although I have used oil based stain to 'antique' some of my acrylic paintings, so it probably wouldn't hurt. For storing your drawings....how large are they? If they aren't huge, you could buy a large drawing pad and place them in between the pages. What is the medium...pencil, ink, chalk....??? It definitely makes a difference. Last edited by sammiz; 04-29-2008 at 09:04 PM. |

| Thanks guys! I guess I'll just go with oils and skip the acyclic. Thanks for the suggestions on the storage too. They are pretty large so I think I'll get a big sketch pad.

| You should at least post your favorite one. What do you paint? I think that is awesome.

I prefer drawing. Again, people. I'll post a few once I'm done with the semester and have time to go through everything.
