i would say it depends on how much you plan on painting. If you are just touching something up, ok i guess, but when it is dried it will look different than the rest of the painting. If you are repainting like the whole thing in oils, i wouldn't. i dont' think it would last long. Oils are meant to be used with VERY little on the brush (for the most part) and you kinda rub it into the canvas, so if you are just putting oil on top of acrylic i dont' think it would have much to "hold on to" but that's just my opinion. Maybe someone else can help further.
