| ![]() I had Lasik surgery about a year and a half ago. I don't believe my doc was performing the non-flap one. I did hear about it-there is supposedly pain (none with flap-lasik) and the results are not as clear as traditional. BUT...that's just what I've heard. Good luck! It's the best thing I've ever done!

| ![]() good luck! I recently found out I can't do lasik since my corneas are too thin. So Tuesday I'm going in for a consult on implantable contact lenses. Not sure if I'll do it or not, but I want to look into it.

![]() ![]() My doc said it's not really pain -- just a little discomfort. You don't walk away from the table with 20/20 vision. It takes about a week (because they did not create a flap). But I'd rather do that then have a flap created and risk complications from it down the road. One of my co-workers had it done a little over 2 weeks ago and he has BETTER than 20/20!! Yay! ![]() My boss had Lasik a few years ago and she has has had a lot of flap related complications since. ![]()

You should go out and buy non-preservative eye drops. They are expensive, but they lubricate your eye. The cheap kind, just wet your eyes. I recommend the two below (see urls). The purple one use at night b/c it's gel, not liquid and it makes your eyes feel weird. ![]() http://di1.shopping.com/images/pi/a0...77x150-0-0.jpg http://www.lenscatalogue.co.uk/acces...-10251-v3b.jpg
