| after re-reading the original post...I honestly think we all need to take a step back and think....would it have been funny at ALL if I had replaced Ghandi's name with "my neighbor" instead? because honestly, that is how general I took the "joke" to be...and if I had put "My neighbor walked barefoot most of his life" and so on...we all would have laughed. and since that is how general I took the whole thing to be....I guess I didn't see anything wrong with it. so let's all try to re-read it and instead of Ghandi's name...replace it with "my neighbor" or "my boss" or "my boyfriend" or whoever you would like to put in the place.

| Sometimes, even in the most innocent of circumstances, things go awry and humility is called for. Perhaps this whole episode was meant to be a lesson in humility for me. |

I just took as a clever play on words. I guess I've always thought of Ghandi more of a political figure than a religious . . . . .more like George Washington or Abraham Lincoln than Mother Teresa. I have been enlightened. (Is that in bad taste too?) I think you were right on the original spelling though, Gandhi.
