YT 500 Club Member | I have no idea on the morning sickness but I just wanted to applaud you for being a wonderful big sister. My sister would have been ratted on me instead of being as caring as you are. I hope she is not pregnant and it is a false alarm.

Sorry, I've done too much research for my own good. We've been trying since the beginning of last year with no luck so far.

| I bet she is so afraid to find out! to you for being there for her. Hopefully, its a false alarm. If not, babies are always precious blessings, regardless the circumstances. I'll keep you both in my prayers!

| She is still in school so she is doing it on her lunch hour. I hope she is just panicing for nothing. I was so shocked last night that I competely forgot to ask about the period. My brain was not working. I am going to ask this morning when I drop my kids off at Nana's. You don't know how hard this is not to call my mom but I will give her a chance to find out. O my parents will be there for her no doubt about that but I don't think they will be taking her to see her BF anytime soon if she is. My parents will understand as I was a baby born the same year my mom graduated high school.. I am just worried that they will want to get married and she will never finish school. I mean my dad had been working since he was 16 and was older and way more responsible. When I asked her what he planned on doing after he graduates she told me he wants to box and they are planning that boxing will bring in alot of money. Okay I don't know alot about boxing but I don't know if sometime that is under 5 feet tall would be good enough to make money at it. The only boxer I know is really good but still has to hold down a job to support his family. I just worry cause my parents do not make enough to support a new baby and her boyfriend too and I don't think my parents or his parents will let them move to his house. They make just enough I don't think they would qualify for help. But we will deal with that if need be. Praying I don't |

| Why do they all wanna grow up so fast?? very difficult situation for you all. I have a few different viewpoints here. I was just 18 when I learned my daughter was coming. I was shocked as obviously a baby wasnt in my life plan yet. But, she is the Very best thing that ever surprised me! It was a tough road. We got married and 6 months after the wed, Kyleigh was born. She has an absolutely wonderful dad. Altho we are no longer married, we are still best friends and talk everyday. Viewpoint #2, As Ky grew up, I pursued my career as a nurse in an OB GYN office. I saw so many lil girls come thru that had the same fear. Some as young as 12!!! how sad I thought. It was always hard to tell them they had + results. I was amazed however, how many parents stood by their sides to make agonizing decisions. There are really good family clinics in every state, like planned parenthood for ex. They teach, test, and support all kids in this situation if in fact it turns out worst case scenario. If not, and we hope, they also teach how to NOT get in this sit again. Just a lil footnote, Ky is being married in Oct to a great guy, and she is a success in her career and life. She makes us so darn proud! Best of luck and hang in there. Fingers crossed for - results.

See I believe if you are responsible enough to have sex you should be responsible enough to pay the consequences. I was also a teenage mom and it was a hard road but I did it and I thank god for my daughter everyday. while in a perfect world all our children will finish college get started in their career and then get married and have babies...it sometimes doesn't happen like that. we can only educate our children and hope they make the right decision and be there for them regardless of the outcome. heres to hoping her test result is negative.

| I know all to well what she is feeling,I was pregnant at 16 had my daughter on my 17th birthday. She is the best thing that ever happend to me. It is a long tough road,I worked nights did school work then had a baby to get up with at night to school the next day then to work etc.. My boyfriend did not work at all his folks made him do nothing I even paid my own DR and hospital bill for her.My boyfriend and I broke up when she was a year old and I still had a year left of high school.Thank god for my mother! I paid for everything and had to work all the time ,My mom babysat for me but I had to pay day care to go to school, for my mom worked during the day but took care of Tera at night when I had to go to work. You have to grow up fast when you have a baby that young, your teenage years are over for none of your friends have that responsibility, they still go out play sports and act like teenagers etc. When they were all at the movies I was home changing diapers and taking care of a crying baby. I would never change things for having Tera at that age made me the mom I am today with my 4 boys.I am very close with my kids and my daughter who I have a very special close bond with is now 26 with 2 kids of her own . Her dad is still not really in her life and that is the saddest part of all for he missed alot and you can never go back and she has some bad feelings about that. You sister needs all the support and guidence she can get from family and her friends. I hope she can find strength to deal with what lies ahead of her and she has a loving family and great friends to help her through the hard times. Tammy |

| Okay she has not tested yet She is waiting until in the morning. I am beginning to get the impression that she wants to be. I know this sounds werid but you would have to know my sister. She is not really upset and has a rebuttal for every explanation I come up with for her syptoms. I am beginning to wonder if she does not think that if she gets pregnant that her and him can get married this summer. Their orginal plan failed so I hope to GOD this is not the backup plan. This morning when I talked to her she was not upset like I imagined she would be. I have seen several of the girls I went to school with and not a one of them was as calm as she is. She is not really that mature to be that way. Even as mature as I was at 18 my one scare I was terrifed and I had been dating my BF now DH for about 4 years I don't mean to sound like I am being a witch about this but something isn't jiving with her normal response to things. I don't think this guy is good for her at all. She never leaves the house except for school and work and throw a fit if she does not talk to him every hour of the day I had a steady BF in school but I also spent time with friends and could go a couple days without seeing him or talking to him if needed. I don't know how to put this but I don't think his emontial state is right and he is keeping her so wrapped up in him she is losing herself. i miss the sister that used to go places w/ me , my boys my mom. Now it is a struggle to get her away from him even though he lives nowhere near her. Sorry to be such a longwinded complainer but I am so gald y all are here. |

| I am sorry this is so hard on you as a loving, caring sister. It is hard to see people we love make decisions that may alter their lives in what we believe are negative ways. Praying for peace for you. I know it is hard to just let go - she needs you, yet she needs to grow up. Praying she's not pregnant. If she's not I hope the two of you can sit down and really talk & she can listen to you about some of your concerns. Because if she wants to be pregnant she could try again. Praying you have a chance to shine a light on the reality of trying to raise a baby without an education in today's society hugs to you
