| I'm feeling mischievious!!! I'm sure many of you remember hearing me rant about my terrible neighbors upstairs and how loud they are. Well I guess our landlord sent them a letter telling them to calm down but it hasn't worked. We've had enough. Nothing is going to work to keep them quiet so we are just going to get revenge. Let them see how it feels. What would be the best thing to wake up an upstairs neighbor??? Ooooh I'm just so excited! I feel 16 again!

| I do remember your rant. and I can relate. Freshman yr the guy above me in the dorm LOVED to sing, but unfortunatley he was HORRIBLE! and LOUD. Sophomore yr in the apt the ppl above us sounded like they were a heard of elephants int he middle f the night. I swear they played tackle football in their apt at 2am. Unfortunately sound seems to travel down, so i'm not too sure how much revenge sound wise you could get on them. Maybe put a flaming bag of dog poo on their doorstep? (j/k of course!)

| I'd crank up the stereo, maybe poke the ceiling with a broom handle? It sounds like fun to me!

| I officially woke them up!!!! I took a corner of a book and tapped, nonstop, on the ceiling. They then stomped back. I'm sure it will just make them louder. Oh well....I'm having fun!

| oh!, I had a person who lived under us that was PAIN in the butt!! they would hit the celling (are floor) with things and then call the MP's and say we where keeping them up (when we where SLEEPING or not even on the floor).. they even hit the heater and it eco up to are apt and woke up are son (new born at the time)... They even called the MP's on us about are dogs collars.. clammed they where TOOO loud lol... OH they even said I was moving things odd hrs of the night, when I was preg(they didnt know I dont think). I was 5 month preg(I was, high risk preg. too) when I moved in.. so the LAST thing I wanted to do, was be on my feet and move things... we finally moved after I told housing what they did, to wake my son up... I told them either move us or them.. OR you will be getting a call from my lawyer Why dont you try doing the thing that bother you, that they do...back to them. Give them a taste of there own medicine |

| You could always hit the ceiling with the end of the a broom or mop and then always deny it. Worked for me! I did turn the stereo on and all the way up but then I was the only one home besides my upstairs neighbors. They got doorbells?? If they do you could always run up and ring it and then run downstairs. Just some ideas for ya! lol Hubby always telling me, I am devious...lol

| Try playing your music super loud and put the speakers facing the ceiling...perhaps put the speakers on top of a high bookcase so they really get the full impact of the music!

| Getting "even" sounds fun, but can you just go talk to them yourself w/ your little one and tell them that they keep him awake at all hours, etc....really pour on the desperate mom thing?

| Im tickled reading all the things you could do... I lived in a apartment at one time and used the broom handle IT WORKED! they stopped what they were doing....My advice is when you know they are asleep like 3 or 4 am lay in bed with your broom handle and pretend you are trying to swat at flys Im sorry I am suppose to be good and support doing the right thing but this thread has tickled my socks off!!! Now I am being mischievious Vicki ?? Not me

I love Feathers don't get me wrong, but sometimes he can sound like a fire alarm! It was good revenge to get him going!

| In our first apartment hubby and I lived under an unmarried couple that would have sex at all hours. Morning, noon, night, 4 am. It was so loud as if their bed was coming off the ground! One night, it was 3 am and we'd had enough of it so hubby went up and said I don't care what your doing, but we have to get up at 7 and if you don't stop we're going to report you to the landlord. They were half naked and very apologetic. If we hadn't been so tired I'm sure we would have gotten a giggle over it. They apologized every time they saw us for over a week. |
