| Poor Lexi! I know how ticked you are. Go find that doctor and push him down on the floor. Grab some forcep clamps, stick 'em up his nose and drag him up and down the hall a few times by the forceps! Maybe he'll get the picture then.

| Poor little Lexie. Denise I am so very sorry that the both of you are going through this trauma. I know it is probably as hard on you, maybe even harder. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. When my middle son was young, he same to me and said, "Mommy, I have an eye in my ear." To make a long story short, his older brother had put a jiggly eye in his ear and of course it was stuck in the ear canal with the flat part facing out. We made an emergency trip to the Pediatric ENT specialist (lol almost like our regular doctor cause the kids had a lot of ear/nose/throat issues) and he told us that he had one chance to get the jiggly eye out, if he couldn't get it out he was going to admit Earl for emergency surgery. We, too were lucky, the doc was able to nab the jiggly eye and we went home with an ear that was eyeless. |

| Prayers on their way for Lexi. Hopefully, everything will pass with no ill effects. As for Dr. Jerk, I've met a few of them in my time and I truely wonder how they ever got their licenses. They should not be allowed to practice.

| I too have a short fuse for doctors with less than desirable bedside manner...(as I posted before), but I remembered somethign that I wanted to share with you...Though this may or may not apply to your troubles today, in my experience (and boy do I have more experience than you even want to know about), sometimes it's the best doctors that are the WORST in communicating with their patients. It's like they're SO smart, so focused on their jobs, and they don't have time for small talk and kid gloves. Though it's really difficult for patients to have to see doctors like this, sometimes it's those doctors who really do know the most and give the best care. I've run across a few like this-some of the best in the country in their specialties, actually-and many of them have their own nurses to help deliver messages and consult with patients because they're not great at communicating themselves. Just a thought...maybe it will give you some peace of mind that you have good doctors caring for Lexi, and that they're doing their jobs, while keeping your child's best interests in mind-an inexperienced doctor might have given her surgery right then and there, only to discover that the sticker was swallowed-why put a kid through all that if it isn't absolutely necessary? Just my two cents. Hugs to you and Lexi, hopefully the sticker is out of her nose, and won't cause any more problems for anyone

| I will surely keep little Lexi in my prayers. We have been thru that scope thingie with my granddaughter. It was not pleasant. I don't understand why drs. have to be so rude. I switched my family dr. years ago because of his personality.....or lack of it.

| Hello, just on for a few minutes before bed. I didnt sleep at all last night so I'm going to bed early. Still no news on the xray. He said it probably wouldnt show up. I know the sticker was still in there as of this morning cause it was all swelled up and she was very very nasaly when she talked. She said it tickled too. So who knows. Hopefully somewhere in her crying it when down her throat and into her stomach. I forgot to tell you guys, Lexi is sooo funny, she keeps us laughing all the time but anyways when we were waiting for her to get her xray there was a lady in there and Lexi looked at her and said. I have a red heart in my nose, but amazingly the doctor just cant find it. hahahaha go grown up the lady cracked up laughing and i had to explain the story. and guess what they gave her after her xray for being such a good girl.....A FRICKIN STICKER.... ahhahhahahah it was a HUGE one. All in all she is doing great but has been really tired today. Well look at it this way...I have my insurance deductable met for the 2008...hahahaha I'll let ya all know when the xray results come in. She hasnt coughed at all so that is a really good sign. He said usually they will cough or wheeze. Well off to bed...Thanks a million for all the prayers. Love u guys |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Hugs Lexi And Denise= Prayers For You Both. Dear Lexi, I just wanted to let you know Auntie Patti and Uncle Jack are praying this sticker will disolve on its own and that you are going to be fine, lesson learned honey, no more of those tricks of thinking magic. (Denise, Please don't read the next paragraph to Lexi out loud ) Our son had to learn when he was in first grade, the teacher had lesson in learning to count using kidney beans, oh oh, boys being boys they took the option of saying what goes in here will come out there and there will come out here. Well our son said if it went in his ear it would come out his nose, so I got a call telling me to come pick him up, by the time I drove him to the hospital emergency room, it had already started to swell (warm +moisture) yeppers it sure was, oh my he went through a lot like Lexi is Denise, this so reminded me of that happening to him. They had to get it out with a needle and let me tell you that was not easy with a first grader either. He learned a lesson but his teacher also learned one too, no more beans in math lessons Bless her heart, the medical people should definately be understanding when it comes to the needs of their patients. Be they young or old, prodedures can be and sometimes are frightening. We are sending a hug to you Lexi and a great big one to your Mommie. Denise I can remember the many sleepless nights when ours was young, I pray you get a good nights sleep tonight, and that Lexi will be just fine. By the way give little Precious Miracle Maddie a hug for me. Patti and Jack Last edited by Baby Blessing; 03-17-2008 at 09:07 PM. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Lil Lexi is such a doll baby! I have had the pleasure to meet her a couple times and she is a hoot! I pray the exrays turns out to be good news. I can't imagine that sweetie having to have surgery. When Branda was about 4, she had a wax build up and I had to take her to a ear, throat, nose doc and he was also so mean to her. Some docs just should not see kids, they just dont have the patients. Hope all is well for that lil sweetie! Tell her Aunt Missy is thinking of her and prays she is all better real soon! HUGS |
