I too have a short fuse for doctors with less than desirable bedside manner...(as I posted before), but I remembered somethign that I wanted to share with you...Though this may or may not apply to your troubles today, in my experience (and boy do I have more experience than you even want to know about), sometimes it's the best doctors that are the WORST in communicating with their patients. It's like they're SO smart, so focused on their jobs, and they don't have time for small talk and kid gloves. Though it's really difficult for patients to have to see doctors like this, sometimes it's those doctors who really do know the most and give the best care. I've run across a few like this-some of the best in the country in their specialties, actually-and many of them have their own nurses to help deliver messages and consult with patients because they're not great at communicating themselves. Just a thought...maybe it will give you some peace of mind that you have good doctors caring for Lexi, and that they're doing their jobs, while keeping your child's best interests in mind-an inexperienced doctor might have given her surgery right then and there, only to discover that the sticker was swallowed-why put a kid through all that if it isn't absolutely necessary? Just my two cents.

Hugs to you and Lexi, hopefully the sticker is out of her nose, and won't cause any more problems for anyone
