I noticed that too...I wonder why? They didn't show her until the song was almost over! Weird!

My theory is that she wouldn't/couldn't sing that song because it wasnt her style. It couldn't be screamed.

Hi there!!! I am geared up for another AI evening!!!........ I wonder what they will sing tonight??? I hope the contestants "mix it up" tonight!! I would like to hear David C. do a ballad, David A & Jason C rock it up (and Brooke, too!!) I would be interested just to see some different sides of them!

Loved Michael Johns and David Cook.

Brooke was good and Cristy Lee seemed to surprise everyone.

The only two I liked last night were Michael J and David C - especially David. He is truly gifted with that arrangement. What a great job. I'd actually buy his CD. I think the kid (David A) has the best mass appeal and will win but I don't know that I'd be interested in his music.

I'm not as thrilled with the talent this year as usual. I think the vast majority of them are boring.

David C rocked da house!!!! Loved him! Seems they all have certain styles they can sing really well but they get outta their comfort zone and they choke except for David C and Carly. I think they are the most versatile and consistent. We'll find out more tonight!!

That arrangement on Billie Jean was awesome. I have always liked that song, and I think that was a very clever interpretation.

He's not my favorite on AI. I like Brooke, David A., Jason, and Carly (if she stops picking crap songs) and I forget the adorable filipino girl's name--dang...can't remember. I like her to, but she sounded awful last nite.

Amanda was getting on my last nerve even b4 last nite. Shes got this stand offish snotty streak I think, so I wasnt disappointed when she said bye bye

David Cook was really good last night...I might have to say that he should win the whole thing...even tho he doesn't totally appeal to me for some reason. But he may well be the best. I'm worried for Carly tonight...she was in the bottom 3 last time. Voters don't seem to go for her, I guess. Poor Jason...he's cute but I think he's a little 'spacey'!

I loved Carley's song last night. Total Eclipse of the Heart, and I thought she did it great!

Kristy Lee played it safe but singing a patriotic song.

David Cook was really great

I feel it is going to be a toss between David Cook and Michael Johns.

I pick David Cook for the overall winner...he seems to be pretty much able to do a lot of songs.

Carly is great! She can really sing...all styles!!!

For the life of me....I can not figure out why Christy Lee Cook is still on though...Last night was her best, but it was a safe pick...aurgh...I just hate to see someone go before her!

Wow, David Cook is awesome!!!! That take on Billie Jean was just totally amazing, there is not to many that can take a song like that and make it their own, and actually IT WAS FANTASTIC! I believe he is the most talented one of the group, but he isn't the most appealing of the contestants. Still I believe he should be the 2008 Idol Winner! Very very talented young man!
Can't wait to see results for tonight, I feel that Jason needs to go, very cute but least talent, sorry girls!
