| Luvs Lulu Donating Member | It just kills me eveyr damn time I hear him say it. So what big deal I would be more impressed if he would put the skills to work. If I don't cook he will eat a hot sandwich. I can slap him sometimes. Another thing that will kill me is that he is home during the day but he won't cook. He waits until I get home to cook and he can eat on the run. Says it taste better when I cook it...sure it does because I get to do all the damn work ;0)

| Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | My hubby and I usually cook together. It works out much better for us that way. Tonight we had tacos. While I was cooking the meat and sides, he was getting all of the "toppings" ready (chopping tomatoes and shredding lettuce, etc.) and making sure the table looked nice and perfect. Then we clean up together. Most nights he does the meat and I do all the "extras". It just depends though. When I was working last summer and he was looking for a job, I would come home to a great dinner every evening, laundry clean, folded, and put away, and a perfectly clean house. It was great! Last edited by AngieDoogles; 02-11-2008 at 04:20 PM. |

| I do the majority of the cooking because I enjoy it. But my husband and I have a deal, as long as were are both working full time we have to share the household duties. For instance, when I cook, he does the dishes. On those nights when I am "not feeling it," he is capable enough to whip something up! Of course, then I have to do the dishes. |

| My DH cooks, cleans, does laundry, shops, takes care of the furbabies and is wonderful. He is a really great cook, and is very organized and cleans up as he goes. (Would you guess he is a Virgo) I think I'll keep him around, so far its been 33 years. In the meantime I do work a 40 hour week. It sure does help to have him do everything cause then when I get home from work we can "play"....with the pups or do whatever we want to do...
