Does the man in your life cook??

my husband cooks! hes really good at it too... I have gotten some good recipies from him lol Im one of the lucky ones too my hubby helps with cleaning too I know I am lucky and I feel like I deserve him! lol

Wow, I am coming back to this thread after going to bed and I can't believe the men that are cooking!!.....I thought most would be like mine....an egg sandwich it his complete recipe file......

Now, my son cooks and he likes it, and he's pretty good at it, he will ask me for advice as he goes....one night he wanted to deep fry fries ( he usually does oven fried ) I was already in bed so he couldn't ask me, I come down in the morning and find a large pan of oil on the stove with fries uncooked in it, yuk...I asked him what happened and he told me he used olive oil to deep fry in, needless to say he learned a important lesson.....I see he's going to make some woman very happy.....

My guy claims he can cook... Ive only been with him a month or so and he has not done it yet... so we'll see! Hes good at going out to eat, so at least he can provide a meal, but I dunno about home cooking yet! My ex NEVER cooked, for the 4 years we lived together I did almost all the cooking... once in a blue moon hed make something... he cooked great actually, I wish he did it more. I cook to eat, not to enjoy LOL I hate cooking so usually its a quick throw it in a pan and 10 mins later its edible (not good, just edible) HAHA

My hubby will try, and sometimes he does ok... But for the majority, I do all the cooking and i don't really like it to much! lol

Hubby cooks once in a while. He makes good stews, grilled meats, and pasta sauces. But the responsibility of making dinner falls on me, unless I have to go somewhere or he sees I'm tired. Of course, once I'm done cooking I won't enter the kitchen again, he's in charge of all the cleaning

Mine doesn't cook, but he isn't picky either. If I cook he eats it. (no matter what the veggie ) and if I don't feel like cooking he makes himself a sandwich. But he does do the clean up.

I think I prefer it this way. I'd rather cook than clean up.

Wow a lot of you have hubby's/bf that cook.. lucky you.. I would starve if i did not cook, and he does not even make a sandwich for a lunch..LOL

Although when I have had hip surgeries in the past he does cook then.. but the minute I can get up and do it, he is done. He is good with a hammer and will do renovations so I guess it is not too bad..

But I would think I died and went to heaven if he liked to cook...LOL

I was never taught how to cook.. So when I do cook its rare and i stick to the things i know i can cook well.. So dear bf does a lot of bbq'n he loves to bbq.. which is fine w/ me i'm a meaty kind of woman..

Mine's the king of the grill No one can beat his baby back ribs and OMG his steaks are da bomb He can make a few other things too (his seafood stew is to die for!) but there have been some really gross things he's made like the clams and linguine he made one time, it was awful

I'd really love it if he'd clean up after, he's a messy cook

HAHAHAHA I used to tell my ex that... don't buy me flowers, or gifts or anything... don't cuddle me while Im doing dishes or cooking... if you REALLY want to turn me on... COOK! CLEAN! TAKE OUT THE TRASH!!! Nothing more romantic than helping around the house and taking some of the load off my plate! Guess he never got that message and hence why he is an EX! HAHA
