| ![]() Be REALLY REALLY careful!! My sister had appendicitis and she was misdiagnosed the first time (they thought it was a ruptured ovarian cyst)...and within 24 hrs her appendix had ruptured. It spread infection to her entire abdomen, she was in severe pain, and she had to be hospitalized for 2 weeks. She couldn't keep anything down and they had to give her a feeding tube, and she also had to have major surgery to get all the infection out...she had to be cut in about 4 different places across her stomach. IF they would've caught it within HOURS of it rupturing it would've only been a simple surgery and out of the hospital within a couple days...but ALL THIS because they didn't catch it fast enough. So just be careful and don't let it go...because it could get much more serious very quickly! ![]() |

| ![]() I remember the dr saying something about my white cells in my urine but I can't remember. They said that because of it, they were leaning more towards appendicitis. I spoke with my drs this morning and they told me a really need to get the ct scan done so I go this morning to do that.

I am glad you are going to get it checked out. That's an extremely expensive CT scan if it is $1800 AFTER insurance. Do you have a yearly deductible or something? Either way, if it is appendicitis you will save more money in the long run by not waiting too long and having all the complications that can arise. I will be looking for updates...

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() oh, I hope everything goes well. I know it hurts to pay $1800 for a test, and then you don't know how to react in front of the results: If you don't have appendicitis, you paid $1800 for nothing (but hey, that's the price you have to pay to make sure you're ok), but if you do have appendicitis, you paid $1800 for a good reason, yeah!!! but wait! I have appendicitis!!!! ![]() I just hope it's nothing!!!! praying for you!!!!! |

| ![]() Just wanted to let you all know that I do not have appendicitis. They are thinking it might be a gut infection that will play its course or it might have been because I had two cysts on my ovaries that were kind of enlarged. So all and all I will be fine and I do not need surgery. Thanks for all your prayers!
