Be REALLY REALLY careful!! My sister had appendicitis and she was misdiagnosed the first time (they thought it was a ruptured ovarian cyst)...and within 24 hrs her appendix had ruptured. It spread infection to her entire abdomen, she was in severe pain, and she had to be hospitalized for 2 weeks. She couldn't keep anything down and they had to give her a feeding tube, and she also had to have major surgery to get all the infection out...she had to be cut in about 4 different places across her stomach.

IF they would've caught it within HOURS of it rupturing it would've only been a simple surgery and out of the hospital within a couple days...but ALL THIS because they didn't catch it fast enough. So just be careful and don't let it go...because it could get much more serious very quickly!
