| You could contact your vet for recommendations. I am so very sorry about your mom.

| Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I am so sorry about the sudden loss of your mom. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts/prayers. You might check with your groomer, vet and even possibly places like your church or schools....and see if anyone knows of someone that can help you out. (We have used our groomer on time when we needed help on short notice.) I have an upcoming trip and I am using the new Petsmart Hotel services....I took a tour yesterday - just dropped in on a Saturday without any notice - and was very pleased with what I found....so we signed up the girls for 4 days in May - one thing is it is a little high in cost by the time we added all the extras. One other thought.....depending on where you are traveling, could you take them and find somone to watch them in that location? We have also done this and found some very nice people in other locations that took very good care of our pups!

| Kathy, please accept our condolences!! I am so sorry. My mom is ill, so your story hits really close to home. I like LilMissMagic's suggestion of taking them with you to find someone there to watch them. That way you'd be closer to be able to check on them. If you can't do that, I'd check with a vet in the area. They would be the "strangers" that I would trust the most. I wish I was able to help. Again, I'm so sorry!!

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry about your Mom. Let me know if you can't work something out. With Roxie so new and my pom being upset and agressive right now I would be afraid to bring your girls here right now. Hopefully you can get someone to come in foe them so you don't have to upset their routine.

| My heart aches for your loss. I am truly sorry. A few others have made some great suggestions on where to place your yorkies. Do they have the kennel cough vaccine? In case you have to board them.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Kathy - you have my deepest sympathy. we spoke already but I wanted to say it again... I hope you can find someone you trust to leave them with - that would be a huge thing off your mind....When my husband died and I was gone 2 days for his funeral, a good friend and member here (yorkiecrazy & MrYorkiecrazy) watched my girls... I didn't worry one little bit about them - I knew they were in great hands....When you have all the other emotions going on dealing with death - that's a big thing. I hope you find someone soon I wish I could help but am sending hugs and condolences...I'm so sorry about your mom and prayers for your family |

| I'm so sorry about your mom! I would take them if I was home all day but my husband is the one home and he could never handle 4. We LOVE our vet and they do overnight care. They are just west of Aurora. Orchard Road Animal Hospital. I also know a great pet sitter in Batavia but she has big dogs.... Isn't anyone closer? We seem to have a lack of Chicago people on the board.

grandkids, two of which are toddlers. The airplane trip alone would stress the furbutts, not to mention 5 little ones trying to play with them all the time. I don't know, I still have time to figure out what I'm gonna do. You guys are really great and I'm proud to be a member of YT.
