BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I will never sell on ebay again! I sold a camera package to someone in the UK on ebay. He paid $160 plus $50 shipping. He is now saying the camera is broken and opened up a paypal dispute! He told me that the auto focus did not work, so I asked him to take the camera to his local camera shop and get me a statement that the auto focus does not work, then to have them email me the statement. He would not agree to this and told paypal the camera I sold him was broken! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Now they have put a freeze on my paypal account and it says it's -$191.00 I'm so furious! I will never buy or sell on ebay again if this joker gets his way! I told him I was willing to refund him $25 for the camera body, cause that is the going price of the camera body. sorry, I needed to vent! |

| I'm very sorry . I've heard it's very easy to open and win a paypal dispute, especially doing a chargeback with the buyers credit card. It's very scary for sellers since from what I've heard, paypal mostly sides with the buyer. |

| PLEASE don't get me started!! I paid $450 for a chair that they never sent!!! I paid by Postal money Order. He had decent feedback and I spoke with them on the phone, etc. Now, the phone # is disconnected and they have not responded. I had to start a claim against him. EBAY shut him down for now. I know I can kiss that $$$ goodbye. I HATE him!!

No Longer a Member | Missy, Have you posted your story in Ebay's forums? There are a lot of very experienced sellers who can give you good advice as to how to proceed with that. At the top, click community, then click on the list on the left, Discussion boards, then seller central. I've gotten some great advice from there. hope this helps. |

| I had pretty much the same thing happen to me I had to stop selling under my account on ebay because of it. It's pretty much your word against theirs and the buyer usally wins.

| We have been buying and selling on Ebay for years and every now and then we come across someone that we know it just trying to get something for nothing. Ebay is not easy to deal with. Your best bet would be to just have the guy mail the camera back to you and then refund him his money. We don't ship out of the U.S. |

I would tell him to send me the camera back and I'd refund the money. I don't think even eBay nor paypal expects you to refund money and allow the buyer to keep the item.
