Why do people???? Why do people always assume the worst in a person or breeder without having proper knowledge. I am appaulled at how my friend has been attacked on her for sale thread and do not understand why othesr felt the need to continue to put her down. She is absolutely the sweetest, kindest, honest and most caring person I have had the pleasure of knowing yet she has been put down by people who don't know a thing about her or her breeding techniques. I had her join YT because I love it here and have never had problems such as this, yet I sit here crying because I am so hurt by this recent attack. Natalie I am so sorry for all these rude and uncalled for comments by others here and can tell you I don't know how else to fix this for you but to say I am soooo very sorry!! I dont know why she was attacked either. She seems like a kind and caring breeder to me. There arent supposed to be attacks in the featured breeder section either so I dont kow why its been allowed to go on. |
I don't know her personally and I do think her dogs are beautiful. The only thing that I'm sure concerns people is selling a tiny baby for a bigger price tag. I think when we look for yorkies we're warned against that by so many people that it can raise red flags so to speak. I feel bad when anyone is ganged up on, and I believe I commented on her thread, but I didn't read the comments. I feel bad if her feelings were hurt by some people's comments :( |

I was surprised at the comments on her sale thread. I feel sorry for people who are ganged up on because I know how I would feel if everyone posted those types of comments about me. If someone thinks they're too tiny or too expensive they should just move on to the next sale thread. I did comment that I thought her babies were beautiful. I hope everyone didn't scare her away from YT. If she's had yorkies for that long she has a lot of info to help out the rest of us. |

I did not comment on her thread but I DID look at her babies. I was a little shocked at the price tag, but like you said, if you feel its too much then move on to the next for sale thread. I didn't see the need to attack her for any reason. I didn't see a single post by your friend that was anything other than polite, yet she continued to be attacked. :( ETA: If I could afford it there would be a little male with a silver bow in his hair who would be mine no matter what his price tag! |
I didn't see the post. I would like to apologize to her for those that were a bit too forward in their posts. YT truly is a great place and it's full of wonderful people and chock full of knowledge. I hope she wasn't scared off. It's sad that some people are mean...sometimes I can see a need to get a bit tough but honestly if they attacked her over her pricing then that was rediculous. If you don't like the price or can't afford it then just admire the babies pictures and then move on. I do it. I get to ooh and aah for free. |
I'm sorry this happened to your friend. I haven't looked at the threads so can't comment specifically. I hope your friend sticks around YT as it's obvious that you think highly of her. |
While I, too, disagree with the sale of tinies for such high prices, I do think that all the questioning posts should have been removed from that thread. I think admin should uphold the integrity of the featured breeders forum by making people stick to the rules of that forum. After all, I understand that they are required to pay $50/year for the priviledge of posting ads in that forum. By those requirements alone, I think admin does have a responsibility to uphold the policies of that forum--whether or not I or anyone else agrees with the practices of any particular breeder. I read the post...I read a lot of posts today... more than I usually have time to and I am a bit shocked at the number of "passive aggressive" attacks on people...and those that are downright nasty. Shame on some of you. That's why there are so many people with so few posts. They are afraid to say anything for fear of getting jumped on by the pack of hyenas. |
Deb You know how I feel. But I will tell here. I feel that if some one has a For sale thread that is what is is it is not a debate/bash/put down thread! If you have a View of the Breeder and want to tell all then do so in the Review section. If you don't like the prices or practices Then leave the thread alone. there thread is not the place to try to educate. I really think some people feel that it is OK to Be Rude and demeaning to People. Why do people have to be hurtful???? :( Nat I am Really sorry you were hurt by these People. |

I just looked at the puppies and they are the cutest Yorkie puppies I have ever seen. I didn't read the thread, just saw the pictures. I hope the breeder stays here, she sounds like a great asset to YT. |
OUCH ! I got deleted and I posted about my Chanel's breeder and the experience we had with coccidia - but I didn't post anything regarding your friend - Heck - I've never seen her website - I see ALOT of posts got the boot |

I am the first to admit that I am not a very knowledgable person regarding much of anything:D but I would hate to get slammed for something I was doing. I know she isn't a newbie but I have seen several new people run off because maybe they posted in a wrong forum and someone jumped their butt or asked a question that rubbed someone the wrong way. Of course no one should be attacked, but a reputable yorkie breeder should be following the YTCA's codes of ethics and standard. With all the misconception about "teacup" yorkies that the public has (most are very uneducated about there being no such thing), there has to be someone that will stand up and point out red flags to potential buyers. Rules are rules on this forum so I can understand all the posts being deleted, but I wish this site would have more requirements for "featured breeders". |

Also, I didn't see anyone asking for more info or reviews on the breeder, not once did I see a potential buyer ask if she was a reputable breeder:confused: Why attack her because you dont like her prices:confused: I love her yorkies but if I dont have the money to buy her babies.........I simply look and leave:D :D JUst my .02 |

I am now a surfer for the most part. I'm not a breeder but I absolutely adore my yorkies. I came to this site to LEARN and to SHARE my obsession with the Yorkie breed and when I see any kind of hurtful posting it really annoys me and I usually " Change the Channel ", but I guess there is a time when one feels they must speak up and this is mine. There are ways to educate without hurting anyone\'s feelings and if we were all PERFECT ... we wouldn\'t be here attempting to learn more. Sure, I could get turned off and leave YT altogether, but I have also learned that there are those here that will overlook the fact that you might not know what everyone thinks you should already know and then they take the time to educate you with open hearts and minds. THIS is what I LOVE about YT and why I will stay and learn as much as possible. |
