I'll start:
We are different people, with different backgrounds and opinions, but we are tied together, bonded by our love for our yorkies, IMO God's greatest gift to mankind. I love the fact that I can come here and feel I belong, that I can forget some of the bad things going on and just be myself. I love how we are like brothers and sisters, we may not always get along but we will defend each other to the end. I love seeing all the beautiful yorkies and feeling a connection to all their owners.
I want to thank each and every one on Yorkie Talk - just for being here, just for being who they are and I wouldn't want anyone to change.

I wish that more people felt the way that you do, I wish that those that do feel that way acted like it, and I am SOOOO thankful for all of you that DO feel that way and DO act like it!!

I manage a department that could fill out probably every "category" in any survey from race, gender, and age to religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and plain ol' personality. I truly love it. I just wished that they all appreciated it the way that I do. Most days they get along, but I don't think they truly appreciate the beauty of it the way I do.

Here on YT, you get to see where people are from, "hear" the different dialects in their writing, get a glimpse into their pasts which make up much of their passionate opinions today. I just think it's uber-cool here!!

This is like my second family. I can come her for support,companionship on good days and bad. Just looking at everyones beautiful babies can make a bad day better!!!

I really enjoy this kind of diversity as well. I love meeting people from other countries or backgrounds just because they've had such different experiences than my own. It saddens me when someone is too judgmental to really appreciate our differences.

But this is a positive thread, so I'll end on a positive note. I love YT and I love that there are so many different types of people from different places with different backgrounds. It keeps things interesting.

I am so please I stumbled upon this site. I spend far too much time here - why - I feel so at home! In all my thread-hopping I've only come across a couple of mean people, maybe they were just having a bad day, the rest are awesome. I honestly feel as though I am among friends.

It's amazing how a positive thread and a positive attitude can change a day.
For example:
I had to go out and do some shopping and everyone knows that it is not my favorite thing to do, especially during the holidays. Well the lady at the cash register was sooo nice and trying her hardest to make it a good experience for anyone who happened to be in line, but this one person who was in front of me began to give her a hard time about everything... the crowds, the line length, the item... you name it. I was beginning to feel more stressed and anxious by the minute, but this cashier just turned the other cheek and kept smiling and before you know it the grouchy customer was now in a good mood and was even smiling when she left .... and so was I!
Positive vibes.... they really are very powerful.

I love it when that happens. And if they can't get the scrooge to lighten up, it's fun to make eye contact with the clerk so they know someone knows they're trying.

I usually give them a smile, or wink, to let them know they are appreciated.
It takes a special kind of salesperson to work the holidays and I sure do appreciate them all! If there are any on YT ..... THANK YOU!
