I manage a department that could fill out probably every "category" in any survey from race, gender, and age to religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and plain ol' personality. I truly love it. I just wished that they all appreciated it the way that I do. Most days they get along, but I don't think they truly appreciate the beauty of it the way I do.
Here on YT, you get to see where people are from, "hear" the different dialects in their writing, get a glimpse into their pasts which make up much of their passionate opinions today. I just think it's uber-cool here!!  |
I really enjoy this kind of diversity as well. I love meeting people from other countries or backgrounds just because they've had such different experiences than my own. It saddens me when someone is too judgmental to really appreciate our differences.
But this is a positive thread, so I'll end on a positive note.
I love YT and I love that there are so many different types of people from different places with different backgrounds.
It keeps things interesting.
