Nothin' but Good Thread! I thought we could use a thread where everyone lifted each other up!:) A positive thread where everyone can leave feeling good!:D I'll start: We are different people, with different backgrounds and opinions, but we are tied together, bonded by our love for our yorkies, IMO God's greatest gift to mankind. I love the fact that I can come here and feel I belong, that I can forget some of the bad things going on and just be myself. I love how we are like brothers and sisters, we may not always get along but we will defend each other to the end. I love seeing all the beautiful yorkies and feeling a connection to all their owners. I want to thank each and every one on Yorkie Talk - just for being here, just for being who they are and I wouldn't want anyone to change.:aimeeyork |

I have not met a soul on YT personally, but I still feel close to all. I laugh, cry, pray, worry, and rejoice as I read the different posts. You are my friends. |
That word " Positive " caught my eye! Thank you for starting this thread and I have to say that I love, Love... LOVE a place that has such camaraderie and I love how everyone bands together to help one of our members who needs moral support. I also have to say that although some of these posts become heated ... it is interesting to see different viewpoints on the various subjects and if we could all just understand and accept that there are different ideas and opinions and that we really do not have to agree with one another we would probably enjoy these discussions more. I mean, wouldn't it be pretty boring if we all thought the same way? If that were the case .... we probably wouldn't be learning anything new and that would be a big disappointment for all of us who are trying to expand our knowledge base. There are so many bright, intelligent, fun, funny and loving individuals here at YT and they all bring something very special and different to each and every one of us ...every day. I am thankful for all that you share with us on a daily basis... :) |

I posted this thread just to see what kind of response it got. Funny, you start a thread with 'mean' and people are all over it like flies on honey, you start one with 'good' and hardly anyone has anything to say. |
YT is the BEST! We may have our moments (as every friendship does), but all in all YT is a very supportive place full of love and miracles. Yters would do darn near anything for each other and I can't imagine a community I'd rather be a part of! |

I agee with you we need this thread to flourish during the Christmas holidays and throught the year. You've really said it all, but I too appreciate all the friends I have here, and love to come and read all the nice threads. I stay away from the heated ones. It only brings me down. Luckily there are more nice threads then bad ones. |
