| Online Diet Pills Years ago I bought some diet pills online that worked great!!!! They were called Phentermine. Does anyone know where to buy them online? There are so many websites that sell Phentermine but they all seem like scams!!! Or does anyone know of any other great diet pills that work great? I have been watching what I eat and exercising but I just need some extra help!!! (I am always hungry!!!!)

| I know years ago, my one time doctor prescribed these......phentersomething...which was the generic form of Adipex. They did work great........but I gained back most of my weight because he just stopped me cold turkey......I read online that the doctors were suppose to wean you off of them....lowering your dosage, etc because they are addictive, etc. AND with that being said....you are only suppose to take them for 2-3 months at the full dosage.....but I don't know. They were great....I had soooo much energy...and I ate right and loved it and I exercised all the time.....now, I am back to BLAH!!!! Good luck......I try to stay away from pills anymore...but I HEAR YA.....and I would love to hear what everyone else says too!

| don't mean to scare you.. or maybe I do.. but these pills are 1/2 of the pills known as Phen-fen. I am a victim of phen fen. Because of them, I was diagnosed at the age of 43 with congestive heart failure and I have 3 leaking valves that I did not have prior to taking these pills. Because of excellent cardiologists, I am no longer in heart failure and my heart functions on the high end of normal. I still have the leaky valves and one day I will have to have something done about it. Just a warning.. I would see my physician before looking to the internet for pills. Sonya

When I took the Phentermine it was prescribed by my doctor (what I call my "fat doctor" lol) and he assured me that Phentermine was safe and FDA approved. I expressed my concerns of taking diet pills because of all the problems people had from Phen-Fen to my doctor ...I was told by my doctor that Phen-Fen is off the market and Phentermine was safe. I also did a tremendous amount of research on Phentermine. Like I said, I have bought them at an online drug store before and wanted to buy the again online....I usually get them with 48 hours. (I cannot get in to see my "fat doctor" until after the Christmas) Again, I am so sorry you have health problems from taking the Phen-fen.

| I've been using Hydroxycut, and I lost 60 pounds. You can get them at Walmart.

| Phen-Fen diet pill info I recently read that Phen-Fen was thought to be the cause of heart failure and some deaths, but it was proven that the people had the heart condition BEFORE taking the pills. Any good doctor will give you a thallium stress test before prescribing these pills for you ... I have never had to take them and hope I never do, but if I did, I would check with a cardiologist first! You can always fake ADD and get Adderall ... or Ritalin ... but you would really have to pretend to be an airhead to get away with that. Unless your doctor knows your real reason. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phentermine A study was published in 1992 that Fen-Phen was more effective than diet and exercise with few side effects. However, in 1997 after 24 cases of heart valve disease in Fen-Phen users, fenfluramine and dexfenfluramine were voluntarily taken off the market at the request of the FDA. Studies later proved that nearly 30% of people taking fenfluramine or dexfenfluramine had abnormal valve findings. The FDA did not ask manufacturers to remove phentermine from the market. Phentermine is still available by itself in most countries, including the U.S. However, because it is similar to amphetamines, individuals may develop an addiction to it. Hence, it is classified as a controlled substance in many countries. Internationally, phentermine is a schedule IV drug under the Convention on Psychotropic Substances.[1] In the United States, it is classified as a Schedule IV controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act. . | if you do what they tell you to do while taking the pills, such as exercise, watch your diet, and behaviour modification, you can lose weight anyway... it all has to do with life style changes. That is why programs like Weight Watchers work so well ... I used to work in a doctor's office and saw some radical changes when people got serious about diet and exercise ....

| Perscription.. I am not sure you can get them online without a perscription......I do know that you develop a tolerance after about 3-4 months...then you will need to go off them for a while......and then come back on if need be. I think they are good for what they are......hubby has lost about 65 lbs with the help of Phenteramine. Quote:

| My "then doctor" told me the same thing about Phentermine....that they were not the Phen-fen (sp?) pills that caused so many problems. I had never taken pills, but I had researched and asked after he brought these up. So, my next visit, I went for it......he said that I was obese - I was only 45 lbs over where I should be.....so I guess I was "obese", but not the way I would think....anyway.....I liked the pills....I had so much energy and I felt good. I ate right and had the energy to eat right and cook (before, I had no energy AT ALL) and with that, I walked more and exercised more. He told me from the beginning that I would only be on them for 2-3months because there are strict restrictions on the doctors about giving the prescription for this out. And after the 3 months, the dosage would be lowered until the point I didn't take them anymore.....because they are highly addictive. I lost a lot of weight and felt good and looked good. BUT he just stopped me cold turkey and I think my body went into some sort of shock from it and I quickly gained back 20lbs even though I continued to eat healthy and continued my exercise plan. That was NOT good at all. After that, I tried something on the market....can't remember what it was, but it had ephadra (sp?) in it and it made me VERY ill......so I haven't taken anything since. I think everyone knows that with the right diet and exercise, you can loose the weight without a pill.....but some people need that extra help to give them a boost in their weight loss and energy.

| Oh...I was just talking to a friend last night (hadn't talked to her in several months).......her daughter had been very sick and the doctors never could pinpoint the exact cause of what was going on. So, the whole family went to another doctor and did some sort of allergy test (she said is the newest test that tests 95.9% of foods or something like that) and found out they were allergy to a few different things. She had been suffering from stomach cramps, moodiness, etc. And her doctor just said it was her age....it was the woman's body...blah, blah, blah.. put her on several different hormone therapies, etc. Well anyway....after the allergy testing...the family had deleted some foods entirely from their eating habits and have cut back on some others...and in only these few months, all of their symptoms are gone and they are healthier...her and her huband both lost weight too. (not just a few pounds, but her husband lost over 20). I know she said she was allergic to diary and eggs (no big surprise, it seems a lot of people are anymore) and soy!!! She said she was amazed at what all the doctor said that food allergies can cause a persons body to do.....so I think I will be tested too.....I need to because one of my doctors suggested it at one time....insurance doesn't cover it and my friend (course, it is probably different in different areas) said that her test was about $400! Anyways, if there are a few pounds to go or you just can't loose the weight, I wouldn't think it would hurt to be tested!
