Bare Minerals So I just got the startup kit of Bare Minerals at Sephora yesterday,After getting a demonstration was so pleased with the results and I really like it! My oldest sister uses it and she talked it up to me and said that I should give it a try, so we took a trip out to Crocker Park in Westlake Ohio and Oh my goodness I am just so Happy!! I have very fair sensitive skin that has a yellow tint to it, even the lightest Ivory is to dark in regular foundation makeup so it's hard for it to look natural at all. I was matched with the color Fairly light and she did half of my face first so that I could see how the Bare Minerals looked and oh my goodness it blended right into my skin tone and it felt like I had nothing on my face at all!! i was a bit nervus when she went to apply the Warmth on me because the color is a very dark bronzy color, but a little bit of that buffed on to places the sun naturally hit and it looked very nice! When the other side was done up I was really amazed at how nice my skin looked! When i got home and showed my husband, He liked how it looked on me too. He said that it looked like I did not have makeup on at all just beautiful touchable skin! So I am really happy with it and I think that it was worth the money that I spent. And the startup kits are on SALE for $60.00!! Also at Sephora they have a thing that you can join called Beauty insider and you get "perks" for when you buy from them. Also you get a birthday gift! |
I love Bare Minerals!! This stuff is just awesome!! I love the concealer too. It will cover anything :) I'm glad you loved it. |
I've wanted to try Bare Minerals for a long time but I don't know where to buy it in my area. Do they have a store locator or something? |
I love it too... I get most of mine in kits from QVC... :aimeeyork |
I buy the bigger sizes for about $25 each and it's lasted me almost a year now.  |
i love it too! i have So much BE makeup! |
You can buy it online on their website http://www.bareescentuals.com/ or at www.sephora.com |
My sister in law gave me some as a gift awhile back. I've tried to purchase it, but online everything I find wants me to join a club where it's sent out regularly! Where do you guys buy it on line? I miss my bare minerals! |

I haven't tried it yet, but I have been meaning too....I actually do not wear make-up, but I think this would be a light weight way to improve my face! |
Love their stuff! I like how they package things in kits. Can't beat the prices when you get the product and a brush. :) I got the Get Started Kit in April and still haven't used it all. I don't wear makeup everyday and you only use a tiny bit. So their product lasts forever with me. You can try http://www.sephora.com or http://www.qvc.com They both carry collections you might not see other places. QVC will have today specials and such on days they air segments in the line. There are some Bare Escentuals stores. We just got one within a short drive. I haven't had a chance to really check it out yet. They did have makeup specialists and tons and tons of testers though. I'd love to go in and get my colors done. :) |
I love Bare Minerals, I am a BE junky!!! Been using it so about 4 years and I have to be honest the results are just simply great I wont change it for anything, Lokks and feel so natural and It's so easy to apply w/out the hassle!!! Specially when you travel all your minerals are just packed 2gether!!! QVC has great deals and they put great packages as well. I also find them at Sephora |

I do know that Sephora is having free shipping on orders over $50.00. Also if you order from Sephora you do not have to join a club for it. My sister said that hers has lasted a long time. If you go to their web site they have a store locator and it will list the stores in your state. I liked that I was able to get a consultation and have the color matched for me. It was nice to see what the makeup looked like before I bought it. I want to go get the Classic Rock collection now My sister bought it and we played around a bit and I love the eye shadow and mascara colors! |
I haven't tried it, i really want to! |
The kits are the best... You basically get the brushes for free... I love the brushes!!!:aimeeyork |
I bought a starter kit for my Daughter for xmas, hope she likes it ! I bought it through their site ! |
I started using Bare Minerals about a month or so ago. I love the stuff. I found that the Bare Vitamins Skin Rever-upper makes a wonderful base. It really attracts the minerals and helps them to blend even better. I have very oily skin and this is the only foundation that has held up to the oil. It won't melt away. I blot with an oil sheet and voile, looks like I never had any oil at all without disrupting my bare minerals foundation. It does take some practice to use. Less is definitely more. I would recommend this product to anyone. |
I've been using BE for a couple years and really like it. I also check it out on QVC because they put some nice kits together for a reasonable price. |

I use it too!...... and so do my daughters ( great stocking stuffers! :) ) I have purchased it via QVC, but there is also a beauty supply store that we have called ULTA that sells it, too. |
It started w/ me from QVC and then my sister, then her daughter, then her grand-daughter, then my other sister, then my mom, then my friend... and the spreading continues... LOL...:aimeeyork |
I started using it last Xmas and have ever since! I love it. My skin is so much better looking without makeup than when I was using liquid foundation. It really improves skin, IMO! I have found it in the mall in their own store, at Sephora and at a store called Ulta. Very well worth trying! |

I love bare minerals - its the only makeup that does not irritate my skin at all. I actually think its helping and it looks soooooooooo natural and doesnt feel like I have make up on at all! I tell everyone about it! |
Bare minerals is by far the best make up, I have found. It's light as a feather on your face and just blends so well. I haven't found a better price than QVC. I never mentioned this before but last March I had cancer surgery on my face and the incision was all the way from the corner of my eye to my chin. Eight hr. surgery and then the same the following day for the skin graft and then I looked like I was ready for Halloween for a good six weeks but I was lucky to have found a good surgeon and it healed just beautifully. It's a little pink still so the bare minerals my grand daughter got me is just perfect and my daughter and many other said they would never know I had surgery and I feel the same when I look at me. I should sell it, I love it so much. |

I use it too! I absolutely love it.. It's the best makeup I've tried in my 24 years. lol. I even got my mom using it. It works great... I have rosaecha and it covers it better than any other makeup I've tried. I usually buy mine thru ebay now because it's basically half the price... I only buy it from the store when I need it asap. Expecially for the brishes...it's cheaper to get on ebay.... they're onlike like $5 a piece :) Oh, and QVC has a great variety as well :) Queston- What do you giys use as a makeup case to store yourt bear minerals? I've been looking for the perfect case forever...but no luck. |

My 33 year old daughter has had major acne issues (currently on Accutane) and she has started using it and she likes it. |
I have used BE for 2 yrs now. It takes no time to apply. I get compliments on my skin all the time. I can't imagine not having it! I get mine at sephora but thry just opened a BE store in my mall. I can't shop there. There are too many choices! I have dry skin and BE really dried my skin. But I use philosophy's. Hope in a Jar to moisturize first. Fixed that right up! |
